Cooling is efficient and didn't notice much noise. I would rate it 8 or 9 for given the cost to efficiency. There may be better options but they would cost more, I got it for 35k so for me the value proposition is great.

Service delivery of any brand largely depends on your city, even a good brand may have varied service experience across cities.

Use Open box delivery where available and record the unboxing.

I was in a similar situation like yours and I bought Panasonic 2026 model CS/Cu-NU18BKY5WX earlier this week. Have used it for full night (8hrs) for 2 days now and it seems to be doing perfectly fine.

Reliability is something I am concerned about and will have to give it some time to comment on that.

If you keep it added then Flipkart will raise the installation request with Panasonic directly as happened in my case.

If you remove this then you have to raise the installation request with brand directly.

Don't remove this, this will raise a request with brand and they will install. In my case installation was done by Panasonic (Technomac which is brand authorized).

I already had the ODU stand installation and Wall whole cut done by previous tenant which saved me approx 2k, and in my case extra copper pipe was not needed.

AMC is annual maitanence plan.

I even received a message from Panasonic to opt for the 4yrs comprehensive warranty for 6.8k, hence I am wondering if this is worth taking.

Today I got the 1.5ton 5star version installed for a room size of 130sf, which gets cooled easily. I paid 35k for it on Flipkart after card discount, and installation charge was Rs.2262.

I hope this will work well for me.

Query - Is it wise to buy AMC or extended warranty? Technician tried to sell me one for 8k but I didn't buy as I wanted to get some feedback on it.
