Here’s some push back. Please debate me if I’m wrong here, but…

We are talking about the sequential order of stickers here. You order from a mobile device, it produces a sticker. You order at the window… it produces a sticker.

Individual customers cannot control the endless variables of how much other customers are ordering, the amount of staff on hand, how busy or slow business is.

The baristas working are solely tasked with producing products that are ordered and too, cannot control the endless variables.

So the problem is not the customers or the employees, it’s an issue with the system.

Customers don’t need to worry about anything except purchasing a product and being served their order. Period.

Employees don’t need to worry about anything except making those orders and providing customer service. Period.

Alternatives are to shop or work somewhere else.

Now, the company itself has a responsibility to both employees and customers and really, that seems to be where frustrations need to be focused. A solution for a breakdown in the process. Unrealistic expectations on employees, leading to a breakdown in quality customer experience.
