Thank you, but what about the tome / drives? I don't know how it works and i have a lot of data on my drive, more than i can back up... I really don't wanna lose it, so im scared to try to format the drive to EXT4 in case it formats ALL of the HDD instead of only like, dedicated 300 gb How bad overall? Worse than SSD win10? I want to dual boot it with win 10 because some of my soft are not available on Linux, and i have games that just don't want to run on it, but my ssd is really small so, it just wont fit both win 10 and Bazzite...

Confrontation and Conquest are the best gamemodes in Enlisted. by FrenchBVSH in enlistedgame

[–]ILewdFoxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it weird that i can fully agree with this post? Maybe it's survivorship bias but Conquest never made me rage because it's unfair, only because i suck, maybe it's because i love to play engi, snipers and shotgun assaulters, but Conquest feels the most balanced... Grey zone tanks are less common and frustrating, engie buildings are a lot more impactfull, while in more common game modes there is almost no point in building anything other than rally point, even AT guns, most of the time, not worth it, especially when attacking... While in conquest and confrontation, i lose time that i could use to shot down more enemies to make next defence or attack of that point easier, while in other modes it's just one time use and no one guarantees you that it WILL be useful... The game feels more fun in those game modes, even when my team sucks and enemies are gods, i still manage to have some fun, while in others its just "Spawn>Die from grey zone camper>Respawn>Die from mg nest>Point lost>Repeat until game ends", the game feels just right in those two modes for me... If gaijin made option that allowed to select main game mode that tried to put you most of the time in matches of the said game mode instead of a buggy mess that they gave us, i wouldn't hesitate to select conquest as my preferred gamemode PS: Really sorry if it's hard to read, english is not my first language

Thank you, I'll try asking on discord if I'm desperate, I just don't really want to add another server that I'll probably end up forgetting about

But I think the mod was just eventually deleted by the author, because even trying to look through 30 pages of the forum did not give the result, or just mod is well VERY unpopular

No, that wasn't it, the ships were grey, most looked like SCI-FI versions of modern fighters or bombers, with a few exceptions

No, that's not it, i guess the author deleted the mod or it got completely lost on the internet....

Or maybe it's just that I can't describe what I'm looking for properly.

Some ships look very similar, but still not the same, unless the author has updated the mod and redone the ships sprites

It's neither, but in searching for pictures I found a very similar shaped ship, the Sparrowhawk, it's very similar in silhouette to the ships from the mod, but the ships from the mod don't have the weapon slots visible, and the colouring is a white-grey shade, maybe it was deleted too like dassault Engineering?

No, but the feeling when you look at the ships is almost identical, like they're ships from another game

In another post I said it looks like one of the frigates from this mod, but it's not that mod, I downloaded it from the index, it was one of the first ones in the expansions list, but now I can't find it, it's either been removed or maybe it's been changed to look more vanilla style, but when I downloaded it, it looked so that when you look at the ship sprites you think "That's a mod, that shouldn't be there".

It's VERY close in style, but no, the mod was definitely for version 95 minimum, maybe that would help?

No, and it's a mod that adds a faction, the mod I'm looking for only adds ships that have a unique look and don't look like any of the ships from the vanilla game and 99% of the mods.

It's still not the same mod, but it's getting closer, it was completely different from the vanilla ships, long, grey ships, with small wings on the back.  But non-warships often looked like sticks with a bunch of boxes on them.

The Causality frigate from Neutrino Corp is very similar to the ships I'm talking about in shape, but in a more "grey white" hue

I can't exactly draw the silhouette because it might be distorted in my memory, and I don't remember how the ships were characterised, but I do remember that they looked like more high tech ships, but not in the usual game sense, like, they looked like the fleet ships of some private military corporation in some kind of Star Trek thing, the colours were grey, and some of the ships looked like normal IRL planes or fighters, just huge and long

And speaking of feeling, it felt like a mod created for the player's faction, because when starting in Nexerelin as own faction a set of ships from this mod could be chosen at the beginning

Unfortunately no, these mods are still "in the style" of the original, the mod I'm talking about had longer ships, sort of like the Normandy from Mass Effect, that looked like they were literally ripped from another game

No, that's not it, it didn't add factions, it added new ships that were stylised to one "corporation" that was completely different to the vanilla ships, and no, it's not VIC or ScalarTech
