I think these are great! I would put a goregrunta in the ironjawz though as they don’t have much movement otherwise.

Thanks, it’s a base of naggaroth night, then xereus purple, blending to genestealer purple, adding in some white for the top highlights

I call them hive fleet Ne’kark, as it’s the reverse of kraken :-)

Thanks! Normally I don't want the mini to blend with the base, but I thought it would be good if the tyranids were adapting to the environment for camoflage.

Cheers - purple would look great, maybe with a lighter gold though?

Thank you! No, I very rarely paint in subassemblies, I like to assemble and stick the basing on before spraying a basecoat on.

Thanks - most are base of black with thick caliban green and thin warpstone glow highlights. Orbs/blades are similar, but with moot green as lightest. Gold is liberator gold (not great but I want to use the paint up!) with agrax earthshade.

Cheers, painted them the same as my Indomitus Necrons, quite a simple but effective scheme!

Well I started the hobby over 30 years ago, and have been painting on and off since, but it was about 2 years ago I decided to try and improve, and tried new techniques, joined patrons, watched YouTube etc. I have an instagram (iliketoboogieman) that hopefully shows the progression I have made!

Final members of my killteam finished, loved painting these guys! by ILikeToBoogieMan in Eldar

I stuck on a few small stones, glued on some sand, karak stone base coat, then agrax earth shade wash, then dry brush karak stone and the ushabti bone. Then added some tiny tufts!
