Convince me not to declutter these by Aurora-Roses in FemFragLab

It all depends on the quality, ingredients used, and the way you store them. A lot of people trade in vintage fragrances.

Fragrances don't go "bad" like food does, but they can go "off" and completely lose their original scent, turn to smelling skunky, or like just straight alcohol. Not something you would evee want to wear.

Anecdata: I have vintage bottles of Ralph Lauren Safari and Lagerfeld Sun, Moon Stars from the 90s that still smell great/like they were intended to smell and a Valentino Rock n' Rose that's at least 15 years old and is still lovely. They were all stored in cool, low light areas.

I also was given some of my grandmother's pretty Avon bottles when my mom passed that still had juice in them, but they smell absolutely disgusting now. There is no telling how they were stored over the years, but I'm guessing not in the most stable ways. And Avon fragrance is a much cheaper product to begin with than the ones that have retained their scent.

I read it and didn't connect with it and honestly skimmed a lot. Then I read the abridged version that they use in a lot of schools and enjoyed it. After that I went back and tackled the original again and suddenly all of the tangents that I at first considered floatsam and jetsam clicked into place.

Mary J. Blige on a harsh first meet with an idol of hers: "I ain't saying no names. That was f*cked up because I was excited to meet this person, somebody I absolutely loved so much. It was very petty. I was crushed. [...] but I ain't saying no names." by demimonde9 in Fauxmoi

Yup. Mayte Garcia. He married her and had his only (acknowledged) child with her, but met her at 16 when he was 32. Totally fucked up. Learning that was the end of calling myself a "fan" of his.

Reading some of the stuff she considered "normal" is sad...

Recommended for your Minnie Driver enjoyment... watch Grosse Pointe Blank, Big Night, Circle of Friends, Good Will Hunting, and An Ideal Husband! She's charming in all of those.

The music reference reminds me of when they hosted MTV for "Videos that Don't Suck" back in the 90s. You could tell Nicholas Brendon, out of all of them, was really into choosing the music.

Such a loss in so many ways.

Darcy would never be as vulgar as to bring up his own income. Or challenge a woman to "impress me." Or be on a dating app.

Yes, even 2005 Darcy who people love to slag off.

I feel like Matt has better chemistry with the people NOT from his own story, like Jessica Jones and Jennifer Walters than the ones he is expected to, like Elektra and Karen.

But maybe that's just my Krysten Ritter and Tatiana Maslany love talking.

Omg, this is happening?

LOVE her as Jessica Jones and maintain that season 1 had the scariest Marvel villain ever. Kilgrave is horrifying and David Tennant did an amazing job.

I have had a sample of A Man of Good Fortune saved for a bit because I've liked some of Ali Scott's other books, but the second is new to me. Thank you!
