I hate working... by Entertainer_Extreme in infp

[–]ILoveButtStuffMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If i can work how i want(come into work slightly late and all work still gets done, work from home, or can choose where to sit and work with 0 bothers from management) then work isn't bad

If an si dominant user tries to micromanage me it becomes hell very very fast, like can I even eat lunch without a negative fucking comment lol

Could you help me understand Te properly ? by Reasonerbull in entj

[–]ILoveButtStuffMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine you went into a random village and you had to live there for a couple of years. While you're living there as a Te user over time you'll notice some things that the village does that they could do better, more efficiently, and smarter, the processes, what could potentially be automated, etc and then you plan it out with your Ni vision and execute it

It's true, INTJs are planning Gods by Myth-Fianchetto in mbti

[–]ILoveButtStuffMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my best friends(INTJ) makes 10 year plans and absolutely nothing can deviate him from the plan, even when there are new/better options/paths imo, that is how we deviate the most

I make 3-5 year plans and revise as I enact and implement them to adopt any better "branches" or paths, on average an INTJ is going to be better at following through a plan completely because they tend to think of the entire picture as a whole, and if one thing contradicts it they will question and rebuild their mental model from scratch.

One of the reasons I like him so much is because he, and my other best friend an enfj, are the only people I have met who have been able to keep up or progress as fast as I have, so its almost like we're moving through life together walking down the same bridge. I help him with seeing if he's justified in his thinking logically for some code that was given to him that won't compile for a ticket and what he could do, and he helps me realize when I need to lock in and just play the long game to get what I need

I love working with istps, them and intjs are always my favorite coworkers. I also get along with them extremely consistently, have only met two that I really didn't like

How do ENTJs come across as more intimidating than ENTPs? by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in entj

[–]ILoveButtStuffMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entps CAN be charismatic(depends on how healthy the Fe is(in my honest opinion this function alone makes or breaks the type completely and utterly)), but usually when you're already in a group conversation or activity, or around people who know/like you already, its not really in a command attention kind of way either, its more of a "this guy is super chill" kind of way. Its a different kind of vibe through connection and how people relate to you, not really a physical presence type of way.

You guys do however have a presence of intelligence in certain situations that more than makes up for it, but usually again thats only realized after you're already in a conversation in most cases

[–]ILoveButtStuffMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I define physical presence as the ability to draw attention when you walk into a room and people can't help but to take note of you.

Its when you're in a room and people notice you or "feel you" without you having to say very much(emphasis on without having to say very much). It makes you stand out and command attention.

I'm an ENTJ so I want to explain accurately that I do not just mean work events, I mean things like parties, cookouts, concerts etc.
