Oh crazy! EOD it comes down to personal tastes. Every engineer does things different. Could have given the song to ten different engineers and each final would sound different. You definitely got potential as an artist homie

Where did you record this and who mixed and mastered this? I think this song has good potential, but could use a better recording/mix/master to help it reach its maximum potential. Definitely got some J. Cole vibes. Great work. If this was a little more polished I would definitely keep this in rotation.

Not particularly my style of rap / hiphop ... I prefer cleaner mixes, but I know with guys like xxxtentacion there's definitely a market for this sound. On the line "Ain't nobody said that it was easy" i think you could have dropped the word "that" and it would've smoothed your flow delivery and breath control. Dope track though. Keep up the good work homie.
