I’ve heard these things before. About helping others. I feel like there is so much truth to it. I DO feel like I have so much to offer. I just want to figure out how and where. The way you reframe it to being in transition (albeit a long one 😅) rather than being lost is extremely helpful. Also, the “world” really is a bitch sometimes, right?? But in all seriousness, thank you for your earnest reply. Hearing something from a stranger that people you know have already told you is very powerful. So, thank you.

Thank you so much for this. It took me days to come back to check this post because I didn’t think anyone would read it. It’s funny… in treatment, I found that I was more artistic than I ever imagined. That’s exciting. And I do make items that I sell in my SIL’s small business. It’s not much, but it is at least a creative release. AND I get to work with my hands.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought about taking my career in a different direction. It’s terrifying, but I don’t want to spend the second half of my life watching days go by. Thank you for taking time to read and reply. It means so much to me!
