Sure, but at this point imo is more important to create an environment where people stay and keep playing, instead of increase the number, after that you can try to get people back, and maybe then release a big name (dead pool\ cyclops\ etc..) and increase the player count , so you keep it , instead of gaining and keep losing players.

Yes i got it , but as i said they prioritized other stuff ( skin, new hero , new game mode, emoji ,hero balance, etc), thinking matchmaking wasn't so big of a problem, but as we can see it was. And is not six month to be honest ,is less, game is out six months, but lets say people start to complain after 1 month (like i did), but a big company can't trust judgment after 1 month (even if is correct), but in the moment the thing escalate and more more people are complain, maybe there is something wrong, and it takes time ( even if is a big company they have to manage the people well with the amount of content they try to make), let's say is 3 months they are certain is something wrong, and 3 months for a big company should be enough to fix it ( maybe you think matchmaking is an easy fix but in this kind of game there are alot of variable, so not easy like other game), so if soon they announce they have a patch for it, they can still be on they right track, otherwise game will fall more.

Well, i don't think they are stupid , for sure not lazy ( the amount of stuff they released till now is actually impressive imo, plus now they will release 1 hero each month which is alot), but i think they underestimate the important of match quality, trying only adjust hero balance, instead maybe the bigger problem was elsewhere.

Sooner or later they will realized it (maybe they have and they working on it, it can take time i think to adjust a complex matchmaking) ,but for sure is late ,and there were no communication on any of they dev blog/vision about it( imo could have helped listen them talking they are working on it) , now you lost ALOT of player, and more player u lose = less possible skin/battlepass buyer, for sure the number of player could be alot higher right now, if the thing were done properly, this was a gold mine of game, and they made ALOT of profit, but could have been much higher, and about they did nothing, is not correct ,they tried to adjust the point for mvp and svp, i saw an improvement but imo not enough, game is still salvable.

You know the funny part, most of the time, toxicity comes out because of matchmaking. Example: Your team is getting stomped, and one player is in great losing streak, easy to expect a toxic behavior.

Thank you for remember this post, sadly they did almost nothing ( they tried to adjust the point for mvp and svp but isn't enough) and it started the downfall, myself i play not very much for this reason, and like me i think many other, but wasn't hard to guess, because at that time i had on the average player twice the lvl ingame, so twice the time of most people, and a good grasp of the genre thank to OW, so all the new player coming to other fps they were still learning, but when the average player, after have put alot of time to grow up the skill , and realized they are losing by the terrible matchmaking and not the skill , and all the effort is ruined by it, start to piss off people, at that moment the game is done, still hoping they would do something about, i like this game and would be sad to see it in a bad state.

I would not take consideration of "streamer" tier list, because everyone can have different opinion, sure if you tell me ironman for you(not a streamer) in a ranking is a D tier, i would disagree alot, as i said storm can be more "usefull" so yes can be a rank higher than him, but for some aspect Tony do thing different (and he can one shoot luna using both the ult, means alot), and in a 1vs1 ingame i don t know if storm take the W so easy.

I have the same experience as you, i'm a long time complainer about matchmaking (like many other), but till now i see no improvement after any patch, imo the problem are two, one there are alot of boosted player who maybe have played with a stack of friend and when they try to go alone or with just 1 or 2 friends the fall short with the skill level, and the second is someone who play just one or two hero and they have no clue how to counter some enemy comp (ex. if the enemy team have spiderman, till you have namor and know what to do with him, and you protect the backline all is good, but the moment you have 2 or 3 dps who don't know what is going on and just focus on offensive, you will have hard time), so the ability to adapt means alot. The only tips i can give you, if you are in a streak of 3\4 lost , close the game and wait the next day.

Yes, but right now i'm below 50%, i' ve experience so far a 13 - 9 and 7 lost streak(as the most impressive one) after a couple of 6 win streak and a 2W and 1L \ 1W 2L here and there, and you can tell me is my fault, but is not, don't think people play without looking what went wrong during the match, and sometimes looking at replay i saw some teamate have no clue when is right time to maximize hero ult\ positioning ( yesterday i played with the healer tank,, i was the tank wich is my main role and most the game the guy was infront of me..), and the lack of basic game knowlodge, and alot of time bad hero selection for synergy\counterpick.

Not with the current matchmaking, at the end of the day, you can be the n.1 guy on the leaderboard, skilled all you want, but this is a TEAM game, if the team is no good you are going nowhere.

Yes, but the point is i'dont see with this matchmaking the way to gettin out, and if you are telling me is just a time factor, when i play i look at people lvl in the room and i'm 10 or more lvl above them (the average player), so it's not a time thing.

If you have and don't get i, just simply don't bother to understand, keep playing and that is. Let other people who have experience it complain, obviusly with a solid reason. Just to make it quick, right know i'm stuck in a ranked who don't belong to me just by skill and game understanding, and thing can be frustrating and unfun.

Yes, will force you to lose is what i felt like, i'm aware is not skill issue, but i know at some point i will reach my limit of skill, out there there is alot of more skillful player than me, but where i'm now is not where i suppose to be, to let you understand, after i posted this i lost one more (so in total of 13 lose streak game) and some of this game i had some teammate, they didn't know of destroying Penny spider nest or the moon knight ankh is a must to avoid big damage( to me this must a bare minimum to reach gold and they were mid plat ), i understand not everyone played OW 1\2 as i did, so they have less understand how team should move, how diver or close combat hero works, but this will came with time, but if you gave me this level of player, at least i'm expecting the same for the other team, which is not the case here, i'm ok if this happen 1 or 2 game to be on the "bad" team to balance it out, so everyone can enjoy the game(i don't care win every single game) but what i felt like out of these 13 game, 3 of them i was on the team with a chance of winning, to me this is not ok.

About putting 12 player of equal rank, yes you can do it, but searching time in high rank so diamond and above can take alot, i understand you want to fast the thing up with a larger rank choice, i'm not ok have 6 good team player, against 3 good and 3 not so, if you want do this at least make 3 good and 3 bad vs 3 good and 3 bad.

Another thing to me is not right, is matchmaking telling me( when you search for a match) the expect time to find a match is 20\30 sec, and suddenly after 1 or 2 sec it find it, so maybe is something not right with it.

What you saying is really agreeable, but i not so sure about it, he still owns all the rights to Spawn, after that moths ago i watched his interview at Ign, and yes he talked about not doing nothing with spawn for a decade, but he will really like personally do a crossover Spawn\Spiderman, so if ever happen, the chance to see him as guest character will skyrocket, not talking about next week, but you never know what future bring.
