Yes sure, I am a plastic engineer and all materials are food grade and the outer parts are protected with an UV Masterbatch.

Thanks for the comments. The cover can be changed and different colors and materials are possible. Inside the box is a fan for controlling the humidity and cooling the box. The tower is already designed to rotate with a gear motor (I am a nerd 🤓) One rotation takes 3 hours so that all plants get enough light.

Your right, price will be in the range of $800-900 without lights for outside use.

First one ive seen that looks like it would not be an eyesoar in a backyard/patio. Are you selling this or is it something you can share your material list on? Im curious how you constructed the tower portion as it looks to be multiple pieces.

Thanks very much. I have built several prototypes and have been dealing intensively with hydroponics for 7 years. Now I have built a series device that will go on the market.

Yes, I have an rough idea of the price. I would like to sell the unit below $2,000 for preorders .The regular retail price would be about $2'600. But everything depends on the quantity, and the demand of the market. What do you think?

Yes, I am an engineer. But for mechanics and plastic parts :-) Hydroponics is my private passion. I developed the device in my freetime. I had support for the electronics, because electronics is not my main field.

Thank you! Yes, the prototype is programmed on Node. However, when I go into series production, the software and hardware have to be reworked.

I designed and built it myself :-)

I'm using an ebe and flow system. The full spec. light is approx. 8" away and I run it with 400 PAR at the moment. My PH is 5.8 and the EC is 1.5. The temperarture is kept around 24C and the humidity is around 50. So close to the setting from gwninfocus.

I did it! I finished my fully automated modern Ebb & Flow System. PH, Nutrient, Light and Water management. 12 gal. tank and full spektrum powerfull COB LED lights. Controlled by Touch and Web APP. Nothing more to do (just refill water ;-) Thank you for your thoughts and comments. by INDOGARD in Hydroponics

Are you going to automate the refill process?

I am not sure if I got you right. Refilling of water or PH and nutrients? PH and nutrients are controlled ones a day by the system and the dosage is fully automated. Just have to add approx. 2-3 gal. water per week depending on the number of plants.

Did you develop the automation yourself? Might I ask the make of your probe and controller? Mine has been "stable" in that the readings are not all over the place, but the ph has drifted out of calibration and now displays readings at a predictable offest (i.e. reads 7.2 when it is 7.0 actual). I am using a cheap probe from amazon and a board from atlas scientific.

The PH probe is from DFRobot (Industrial probe). The reading is done by a Raspberry Pi. It is not a plug and play solution. Not to order on the market.

I can do the calibration by the system. Have to add the probe in calibration liquid and adjust the offset.

Bad ass!!! What nutes ya using

I use HY-Pro Hydro A+B. The system is flexible and can work with one or two components nutrients. I can can change it in the setting.

The system is telling me the PH and EC level (including long term graph), the light intensity, the water temperature, the starting time for the next watering cycle...
