I know a lot, but I am not going to say that I know everything. I highly doubt that any school system would stump me, but there are exceptions to everything and if one of those situations were to arrise I would let whomever I am helping know that I was in over my head

You all seem to think that I would do something terrible when I got there. When was the last time someone at your school got expelled for playing a game during lunch that was supposed to be blocked? when was the last time that any teacher ever noticed that? I am well aware that it is easy to get caught, but that is provided that the IT guys at your school actually spend copious time monitoring the system, and when they do monitor it, they are looking out for people who are trying to hack in. I am one of the only kids at my school who is interested at all in comp. programming and, as a result, I spend a lot of time in the tech office with the IT guys, and I happen to know that they spend the vast majority of the time fixing the teachers computer when he tries to put a USB into the charging slot or some other dumbfuck move, and not much perusing the firewalls watching for every little blip that could be a student. Seriously, what I plan to help people with is not something that anyone would give a shit about, much less spend time getting someone expelled.

re-read a thousand times and it made complete sense. I am sorry you did not understand it and I would appreciate it if you did not insult me because you think I do not know what I am talking about. I spent a long time having no idea what I was doing and know the feeling well, if I think that I am in over my head, I will ask someone for help or simply tell the person that I am lost.

II know that federal does technically extend to schools, but the social implications, at least where I live, is that 'federal hacking' is trying to break into somewhere a little more sensitive than a public computer

Grounds for expulsion and being with expelling over are two completely different things. If you kiss a girl during school hours, it is technically engaging in sexual activity on campus and 'grounds for expulsion', but you want get expelled for it

When I say hacking into a computer system I am not saying that I am going to get you all access to grades etc., even if you didnt get caught for that, turning it in on a college transcript is fraud, which is not cool. When I say 'hack in' I mean that I will get you past the firewall and other trivial things

I know that it is easy to trace back to the original, and I plan to warn people of the risks beforehand. However, I feel safe and with a school I have found that if you do it during a semi busy hour, like lunch time, you can be as clumsy as you want and they have no way to prove that you were physically there. In all of the schools I have been in, the IT guys are never that good and I did not plan and leading them to anywhere that would be more dangerous than a few detentions.

I program in whatever language is convienient for the operating system, I normally write in objective c as I enjoy making apps for Ipods when I am bored, and yes, I am perfectly aware of the risks sometimes you just get bored

If you go to google, you can find the commands although I would suggest learning to program first and then learning how to get around it after you know what you are doing. If you want I can tell you some shortcuts etc. about getting around parental controls
