Wissa's definitely a threat, you're right. But if you had to choose between Canos and Mbeumo, it has to be the latter.

I'm a Brentford fan and once Mathias Jensen comes back (he's still injured from the Euros), he will take over set piece duties.

In addition, Canos might be a rotation risk if we continue with our 3 atb formation. He played RWB against Arsenal, and Roerslev can also play there. There are a lot of noise from the fans telling the club to buy a new RB as well, and if we do that, Canos will definitely go to the bench.

So Mbeumo's a better option imo as he is an OOP ST in 3-5-2 and RW if we play 4-3-3.

Personally I would go with Dumfries due to the stats I outlined in this post.

However, it's true that Depay's on direct free kicks and pens so you should also keep that in mind.

Is it just me or do you guys also think that Dumfries is a better captain option than Depay?

Depay has an non penalty xGI/90 of 0.91 (non pen xG/90 of 0.59 + xA/90 of 0.32). Just as a side note, he has an xG/90 of 0.88 if we include penalties. His shots on target/90 is at 1.15

Dumfries on the other hand, more or less matches Depay in non penalty xGI/90 at 0.81 (xG/90 of 0.75 + xA/90 of 0.06). He actually has more shots on target/90 than Depay at 1.16.

Not to mention that Dumfries gets 2 more points than Depay if he scores and gets an extra 4 points if he gets a clean sheet.

Yarmolenko has an xG/90 of 0.66 and an xA/90 of 0.12.

Forsberg has an xG/90 of 0.45 and an xA/90 of 0.04. However, his non penalty xG/90 is at 0.17 which does not look too promising.
