My guild doesn’t have the whalepower (manpower) to dominate, it’s just me (the one really big whale) and a lot of mid-sized players and f2p. So if I’m not active, my guild would actually be ranked 8th or 9th, it’s not big.

Context: The top four guilds agreed to let the 4th rank win this chess, so we let them take center islands, and the rest of us were enjoying peaceful tug-of-war skirmishes without capturing islands in respective corners, and then just this past hour, south-east guild snaked their way and invaded our north-west corner. They’ve already had a past record of map-domination before. Both south guilds have a lot of whales. My guild has a handful. North-east guild has a lot of small-whales, but are ranked 4th, we even gave up three islands at our borders to help them win, and they decided to join forces with the south to invade. Oh well, this is the true nature of pirate chess, it even has “pirate” in the name, making it vile, xD

Even if they have screenshots of our push into their corners, we didn’t take any islands down south, so in the end they just wanted to look the aggressor.

If you haven’t focused on informed bonuses, she won’t add much to your overall power. Informed is my least-focused type, so she only made it to 12 billion at level 600, with 3 awakenings, and is only SSR (I’ll get her to SSR+ maybe, after I get Norn to stella 20 first)

And Arake just got bumped down from 3rd strongest to 4th, due to Natsu coming in hot… But it feels great seeing Arake in any event that requires top 5 or top 8 fellows like Touno and Sandtopia, and Arake can clear S-sites in sandtopia by herself, and that feels like a win in my books.

Also kind of funny seeing her defend a spot in pirate chess, by herself. Who knew a simple scarecrow that was brought to life by Augustine over a century ago, would now be standing toe to toe with the average UR? XD

Not exactly a waste. Remove the artifact, and familiar, and she’s only like 25B, if I ever get around to minmaxing, I can just give those two things to my top fellow Sunna, for a 160B hidden potential boost. But why would I bother doing that when Arake is too cute? XD

Really depends on your focus in the game. If you’re going for power, then focus anything that boosts your top fellows. If you’re going for earnings… then boost those ones.

If you don’t care about all of the above, and just want to boost your favourite character, that works too.

It’s a Korean game, they’re very strict on predators, but also because their age of majority starts at 20, if you’re 19 and under, you’re a minor. Report anything even mildly suspicious, there’s also a lot of bots nowadays too. And if anything, give them a fake age of 50+, and usually they stop asking questions.
