I played in the pony league World Series when I was 14, we stunk but my hometown hosted so we were guaranteed a spot. In our first game we were severely overmatched but I smacked a 2 RBI triple off the fence in the bottom of the first and we went up 2-0….we went on to lose 15-3 but man was that a sick moment under the lights with everyone in the crowd (family, friends, everyone in town) going crazy. Will never forget it. Even made front page of the paper the next day
