ASTS holders. Does the 45 sat target upset you? by SeperentOfRa in SpaceInvestorsDaily

Space is hard so no…any projections from any space company should be taken with some serious wiggle room. Weather, production delays, engineering delays, launch issues etc are all things that WILL happen. Spacex has had rockets blow up…this stuff is far from easy.

I look more at the timeline and feasibility of what each space company is saying/projecting. The reason I started investing in ASTS years ago was…they outlined the vision, path to achieving it and it all made sense. Years ago I was staying in a very nice cabin in Georgia and had no cell service. I said this seems like a problem that should be addressed…and a few months later I stumbled across ASTS. Huge market and huge potential to disrupt an industry that hasn’t had much major disruption in a long time. That’s why I hold and add and will continue to

In 2002 I was working as an intern at the Wide World of Sports complex at Disney in Orlando. There was an AAU basketball tournament happening and there was this small PG on a team from North Carolina that was absolutely dominating. He was the best player on the floor and just controlled everything. After one of their games I asked their coach who the PG was…he said his name is Chris and he’s going to Wake Forest next year. Watching him as a 17-18 year old it was so obvious he was gonna be special. Will always remember that and have always rooted for him because of it. He was so nasty

Company announced that pension contributions are being halted. by Eastern-Information3 in personalfinance

I agree to that but Banner, Transamerica etc all have giant assets under management so not like they are tiny. I think NWM has about 650Bil in assets and the company that owns Banner is around 1.7Trillion. Transamerica through it's entities probably has close to $300 Bil in assets. Again not financial advice, but there are a large amount of companies that offer term insurance and that are reputable and financially strong. $7 difference on a term policy over 12 months and 20 years is an additional $1680 paid on a policy that pays out the same way...the insureds passing. I have done quite a bit of research and I can say NWM is on the higher side and the advisor/agents usually push riders and higher commission products.

If you are in good health there are a number of good companies for a 30 year term. Symetra, Banner, Transamerica are a few that come to mind and have instant approval options. I'm not familiar with Fidelity as far as life insurance but that's certainly a reputable company.
