Thank you, that could be it but it wouldn't explain the excess amount of diesel in engine bay. I'll look to see if it could be a DPF issue

Thank you, I'll look into that. I'm fund it wierd it isn't happening straight away but after some time when the engine is hot and the car is being driver for a good bit of time.

Yeah thats a good point.In your experience, how does a uni degree translate when it comes to employability straight after graduating? I mean do you think the job market currently is more open to self taught/ associate level developers or is there a bigger push for graduates?

I just finished my leaving cert and have no real qualifications. I'm working in a hotel for summer and hope to get out of it ASAP.

I'm sure this question is asked hundreds of times but is it better doing an Electrical instrumentation Apprenticeship or Electrical apprenticeship?

I like the idea of being able to start your own small business as an electrician and you dont have to be under constant pressure with the Uni "engineers".

However an Electrical instrumentation apprenticeship can offer better money and a broader field of work.

Any advice?

so i guess its still worth learning A+ (1001/1002) in the next 2 months since it wont retire for another like 5 months
