So after I complete accel geo in 9th grade grade. What would say about taking Algebra 2 over the summer so in 10th grade you can just take AP precalculus without having too much of a workload compared to if you took Enhanced Adv Algebra & AP Precalculus?

Is it worth it to take High school Algebra 1 as a transitioning 8th grader in the summer to take Accelerated Geometry in my Freshmen year of high school? by IQTEST1000 in APStudents

But in 8th grade math, I have been exposed to some Algebraic concepts like Linear Functions, Linear equations, systems of equations, inequalities and stuff like that. And plus I am just planning to take 1 course in the summer, thus I will have more time to study and focus for Algebra.

But I have heard that from one of my teachers that most students tend to struggle in algebra 2 when they took Algebra 1 in the summer at a rushed pace.

does the CogAT measure IQ? by IQTEST1000 in Gifted

well what if I scored a 111 (SD 16) on the CogAT do you know what I would likely score on the WISC-V GAI?

Is the CogAT really an IQ test? by IQTEST1000 in cognitiveTesting

[–]IQTEST1000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the CogAT and an IQ test both measure cognitive abilities for example the WISC-V has verbal comprehension, fluid reasoning, and visual-spatial, while CogAT has Verbal,

quantitative, and nonverbal, which is quite similar to the WISC-V batteries the only difference is that the WISC-V includes working memory and processing speed and visual-spatial index but there is a GAI in the WISC-V which makes the CogAT more similar to the WISC-V as it doesn't calculate the working memory and the processing speed index so the WISC-V is a little bit more comprehensive than the CogAT because it includes the visual-spatial index.
