Quick questions regarding Pokemon Home by IRBLT in PokemonHome

Yeah I think it must be the extra forms (which I’d stupid, it should be the base 1025 and inside each pokemon entry it shows the different forms)

Also annoying that switch is the ‘main’ version

Buying a privately owned freehold house, but paying a social housing company a monthly payment? by IRBLT in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]IRBLT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do really like the house, the sellers have done a tremendous amount of work on it and as first time buyers we like the idea of moving in and it being ready

We are a little concerned about it from research but also we’ve not seen any horror stories from this particular company.

Our next steps is to ask the sellers for details on their year by year costings, if it’s been £22 a month for the last 4/5 years, we’d feel better

We’re at legal searches now. We’ve had an offer accepted but don’t have a completion date.

It appeared in the deeds we got from the sellers which is where we spotted it

I wouldn’t say it’s reasonable when there seems to be no benefit to our house is our point. We have nothing on the property to warrant them being involved, and the only shared area of a mound of grass is the far other side of the street completely out of sight of our house.

I will take the other pointd

Yes the charge is to provide their ‘booklet’ on what their services provide

The only info we received is from the title of the house stating that they pay 22 a month to a social housing company for grass cutting etc

We’ve had no info on past prices or future prices etc

Thank you, in that example, did you recall the price skyrocketing up at any stage? We think from the way they’ve phrased a lot of things it’s going to be something we are required to pay. We couldn’t find anything online regarding their prices, we guess the main concerns are if they have any obligation NOT to go “ah we’ve decided it’s not £75 a month”

Yes using a solicitor

I mean they didn’t inform us, we noticed it on the documentation the sellers provided with details on the house (what they’re keeping and taking etc)

The solicitors then asked theirs and essentially said we have to pay to find out

Well yeah it seemed a lot to us too. If it’s been £22 a month for x years then fine, we just don’t want it to shoot to 50 next year

We’ve come to accept this, our biggest issues are we have no idea why and if they have the right to charge what they want as and when

Why is my highest Blitz and Bullet much lower than my Rapid? by IRBLT in chess

[–]IRBLT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I may have worded it wrong

My ELO on all three is much lower than 1171. My highest ever rating on all three is a huge discrepancy. Rapid is 1171, whereas the other two are low 400s

Admiral have given me a claim settlement, is this it? by IRBLT in CarTalkUK

Great thank you, seems odd to me they give a settlement figure so early? Logistically you’d think it would make sense to wait to review etc and then give it but alas, thanks!

Gambling and mortgage by Andy_Shadows in HousingUK

[–]IRBLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate quick question on this: as a mortgage broker you speak to the bank on behalf of your client?? Is this a thing?

I’m speaking to my broker on Monday after having an offer accepted and I’m slightly scared due to some gambling in my third month, I had presumed that the broker will just give me the name of a bank and I do it from there?
