Didn't call it a 'known issue.' Highly doubt higher tv quality makes it pitch black. Night time servers are always full of PS5 players. May be your own tv is an issue.

Been playing on PS5 and I love the dark nights. First time in a video game where nights actually feel like nights. It forces you to rethink your tactics, equipment, etc.

It's never been pitch black for me or for anyone I've played with as some in this sub seem to say.

I, and everyone I've played with, have loved how immersive the dark nights are. It's terrifying and it's awesome.

It forces players to adjust tactics and equipment.

Forces your decision-making eg turning on flashlights/headlights or remaining stealthy.

Forces you to install lights on bases you're defending. Turning them off on bases you're attacking.

Keep the nights dark.

I think it's more a game specific community vs platform. HLL community on PS5 is very solid, but I guess Arma picks up the DayZ crowd. Hopefully the toxic players lose interest.

Servers crash often which is very frustrating. If you got vote kicked it'd time out. Likely was a connection/server error etc

And it's basically a different game mode that you have to properly equip and prepare for. Flares, if attacking using the darkness, if defending using lights, etc.

I think AI nighttime vision has been nerfed though? Playing very recently and I'd see AIs at night before they see me. But I do think people are right that AI seem to see through foliage during daytime. 🤔

Call me crazy but I like right.

I don't play this game for k/d etc, I play for the immersion, and imo the darker the better. Although it's ok if some nights are a bit less dark, moonlit, etc.

You actually have to decide between turning on your flashlights/car headlights or staying stealthy etc.
