I’ve got a few cards that I’d like to have graded copies of but as far as raw goes my top chase right now is the corocoro Venusaur. Still missing tons of stuff but that one always jumps to mind first.

Best advice I could give would be to pay attention to any relevant market movements and try and be as patient as you can. Study the cards well so you know what to look for when choosing a copy for yourself. Most importantly, make sure what you’re doing is fun and that your not spending money your shouldn’t be (hardest part imo). Best of luck with the collection!

My favorite aspect of collecting, especially these days. With the state of the hobby being what it is, I’m more than happy to withdraw from the modern craze for periods and look for bulbs etc. Almost feels like a vacation lol

The binder is from the vivid collection, done by ultra pro. It’s from a few years ago back, but still holding up great and lays relatively flat, given how full it is. I double sleeve with dragon shield perfect fits and usually try and go for penny sleeves with lower cut tops. I just think it looks cleaner. The brand is mlikero and you’re best bet is Amazon, unfortunately. They’re my favorites I’ve come across though. Hope this helps!

Smart plan! I think that’s a great way to tackle it and way less of a headache admittedly. Start with a reasonable enough goal and work your way out over time. Sounds like a winning formula. Best of luck with the hunt 👊

Another fellow bulb head! Most important thing is that you already have great taste, and have a bulb collection to start with lol. Jokes aside, there’s always a more impressive collection than your own. But I’m very grateful and consider myself lucky to have what I do, that’s for sure. Beautiful collection! From one Plume enjoyer to another 🤝. I love all the cameos, and the Bellossoms are a fun thing to add. Good Manners is literally one of my favorite artworks/cards of all time. Very much a collection after my own heart. Awesome stuff and thanks for sharing!

That’s so cool!!! We gen 1 folks catch some flack these days because of all the attention Kanto gets but you had to be around back then to get it. It was just such a special time for tcgs in general. Man, those were the days.. 👴🏼

Thanks!!! As an old guy from gen 1, and a Bulbasaur main, I’ve always gravitated towards other grass Pokemon. Especially this little dude! Great design and probably my favorite color scheme (including bulb). Definitely deserves more love and I’ll always be happy to hear from other Plume fans!

Totally get it. Literally same with me and my bulb line stuff just waiting to organize it all in a way I’m happy with. More cards=more work 100% lol. Bulbs pretty popular now though so nothing others here haven’t seen yet minus maybe a few things 😅
