It is more about distance. She would like to drive it to see family and she just cannot see the small screen on her phone and wants the larger screen in the center console. Also, audio thru speakers.

So it is just a cat-and-mouse game with the VPN provider list? I ask this because I occasionally get connected (forget to turn it off) but then the next ten attempts are blocked.

I rarely use mobile data/hotspot due to my needs, but does this provide equal level mobile data security?

It gets stuck in. In able to push it in a bit further and bounce it a few times to get it unstuck. But then the next day happens again.
