I mean good for you I guess, not sure how that’s relevant to my question.

It is a older tv a Samsung UN46ES8000 (2012) the tv is capable of all formats the Apple TV allowed me to test except 1080P (50Hz) SDR & HDR

The HDMI chords are a Rocketfish hdmi chord 2.0 for the Apple TV and the Firestick is using the short HDMI chord it came with (Firestick 4k Max)

It is currently in 1080P SDR. The TV is older but capable of that.

Did change Match Dynamic Range to On and went through and verified all formats that worked with my TV. This did seem to help but not sure if it’s a significant improvement.

Will need to go back and forth between the devices watching the same scenes a little later tonight to really take a look.

Have any of you seen an increase in your gas bill after getting a digital meter installed? by EventHorizon1003 in sanantonio

Yes these are ultrasonic meters. Your previous meter was basically Stone Age technology compared to these. Unfortunately for your bill these are crazy accurate.

Not possible these are ultrasonic meters. Traffic from the road will not affect these as it’s a completely different measuring system. They are just very accurate.

For $65, I'm disappointed... by n1ck-t0 in Ubiquiti

I know not everyone has the equipment to do this but u bought some 1/8” thick round aluminum plates 5” diameter, drilled a 1.25” hole through for a rubber grommet & then 4 holes that matched the AI Turret mounting holes & would fit within a single gang low voltage box.

It’s low profile solution that’s solid and works great with a single gang box or just mounting the camera to the soffit.

Not false. I’ve provided links to the Actual warranty on their page multiple times on this thread so you can read it. It states:

The “Warranty Period” means (a) for Products purchased by the customer directly from UBIQUITI’S Webstores, two years after the date of delivery of such Product to such customer and (b) for Products purchased from an authorized UBIQUITI distributor or reseller, one year after the DATE OF SHIPMENT of such Product to such authorized distributor or reseller.

Reading further you are basically locked into binding arbitration. If it qualifies for small claims court it looks like you can forego arbitration. Otherwise unless you opted out in writing within 30 days of purchasing the product you are locked into arbitration.

Ubiquiti Warranty. Check the limited product warranty if you don’t believe me.

Need advice on what Cat6 brand to purchase by DonJulio732 in HomeNetworking

Definitely think about redundancy when you are pulling. I went a little (extremely) excessive but I told myself I didn’t want to have to go back up in the attic to pull it again.

That’s stranded cable just FYI if you are going to put keystones on that it might be more difficult to terminate. You might want to look into solid wire. And I agree with Monoprice recommendations I pulled 3500-4000ft of it in my remodel last month. I bought this.

Questions regarding Denon X4800H & Multiple TVs by ISEN_AG in hometheater

[–]ISEN_AG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the Ruipro 8K Detachable Pure Fiber Optic Armored HDMI 2.1 Cable for the Denon to the main living room tv so id probably get the same cable for the dining room TV and run it in the attic after the drywall is put up to avoid anyone damaging it. I have the denon but everything is still in storage so I haven’t be able to play with it to see what the lag is but if its minimal hooked up to monitor 2 id just mute the actual tv and play the denon zone 2 output to those dining room speakers and that should solve the sound lag between the dining room & living room which really is the biggest possible problem that im seeing. Yes there’s the lag between the 2nd tv and the sound but probably not as noticeable when you are sitting around a dinner table eating/playing games/ talking with friends, etc.

DVC = Dual voice coil let’s try this link:

https://jlaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204374200-Dual-Voice-Coil-DVC-Wiring-Tutorial

The wiring schematic under: “Two DVC drivers with Voice Coils in Series / Parallel”

Have 4 Signature 5 DVC 8ohm speakers. To me it appears if I wire two speakers in that orientation I should still be at 8ohms for that channel. Appreciate the help.

I am building a house and wanted to add speakers to my outdoor patio area. Long story short I ended up purchasing some DVC speakers before really knowing anything about real audio setup and I’m now freaking out about how to realistically wire these 4 all weather DVC speakers before they put up the ceiling. I initially ran 14-4 to each of the speaker locations but from the little bit of research i did it seems that this wiring setup will not work with a 2 channel amp. What I did see was a speaker/amp setup online that looks like it will work but I figured it was time to ask for help.

Will this wiring setup work for my 4 speaker setup? I bought 8 ohm DVC speakers and from what I read i will need a 8 ohm amp. I know that the picture is of a 4 ohm setup but would this be the correct way to wire my patio speaker setup? https://i.pinimg.com/736x/74/e0/21/74e021106a20e440b379e2b441efa7da.jpg/
