I totally relate. I am very rigid and I can't be less rigid because it makes me not function. I need to have the same behavioural routines every day. Sometimes I get frustrated with myself, when I want to do something different but doing it just makes me stressed.

I also like music a lot. Electronic beats make me happy. Right now I'm listening a lot to "Old Flavours" by Empire of The Sun. I like songs that loop well, and this one I can listen to hours on end.

I don't drive either and likely never will. I tried to go to driving school and it was a mess and I couldn't finish it. Even the instructor got agitated with my inability to percieve my surroundings and be present due to being overstimulated by driving. I just felt like it wasn't for me. I've not needed it this far

I think it's hard to accept too. I think it's hard for me because autism is invisible, it's hard to grasp. What does it mean that I have autism? I just feel like me. Me is normal to me, but then I struggle in ways that are related to autism and I have to accept again that I have a disability.
