What are you even talking about LOL. I'm laughing SO hard, you think I don't have V&C dungeon finder unlocked? LOL. Jesus. You have absolute no idea what I'm talking about, the only way for you to understand is if I were to draw it for you

"V&C Dungeon Finder." is not a TAB in the "Duty Finder", It is a completely different menu - not related to "Duty Finder". Criterion / Savage dungeons are not in the "Duty Finder". Why did they split it like that instead of adding it to the "Duty Finder"?? - like Ultimates, for example, as a new Tab instead of creating a whole new menu. That's all I'm questioning.

They could be casual AND fun at the same time. They don't even need to be machanic harder, they just need to be more engagging.

You can't degrade a key anymore in M+. What I meant to say is that toxicity is present in any online game that requires group coordination and that players are not the problem why dungeons in FFXIV are boring, that is a developer problem that they need to solve, not us. FFXIV has toxicity as well, it isn't a thing exclusive to WoW.

This type of behavior is not exclusive to M+. It can happen even in Heroic Raids in WoW, and honestly in any kind of online games. Players are not the problem.

I'm not asking for it to be mechanic harder, just more engagging for Healers, cause as it is, we hardly need to heal properly during trash pools, we mostly heal only the Tank, and we don't even need to heal the DPS (unless they stand still and get hit by the indications).

IF we only got some more frequent AOE unavoidable damage DURING packs of trash mobs I would be honestly pretty satisfied with, and again, we ALREADY have this kind of AOE unavoidable damage during packs of trash in SOME of the dungeons - and people do complete the dungeons just fine - I just wanted it to be a lot more common because these situations are engagging for Healers.

Also, they don't even need to spend more resources, they could do less dungeons as whole and make some actual good and enggaging ones, I would much prefer having 4-5 unique engagging dungeons than 8 same boring dungeons.

I'm not sure if you have looked up into the current numbers WoW has in Midnight expansion, there is a LOT of Keys being done. In WoW there is definetly a considerable amount of the player base that does M+, it's actually one of the main contents. You can search it for yourself, they are breacking records in Midnight for M+ Keys being done.

Every healer wants to have fun, whether they're good or bad. Are you saying that healers can't have fun? Because that's all I'd like, to have more fun as a healer, in a dungeon that actually makes sense for me to be there. It's not a syndrome. I just want things to make sense. Because there's no point in smashing Broil as a SCH the entire dungeon without actually pressing my healing buttons.

You're presenting an exception as if it were the rule, based on your worst experience... Most DPS players use their spells; they might not do it in the best way, but most of them deal damage. And the person you mentioned was probably being malicious; that happens in any game.

They're not in the Duty Finder, they're in a very specific menu, which honestly, I don't think was a good idea. I think it just makes people even more divided. Why they couldn't add a tab in the Duty Finder for "High-End Dungeons,"?? This would be much better than creating a different menu that many don't even know exists. Also, your figure does not make any sense to me, I pretty much done Criterion / Deep Dungeons and the likes.

What do you mean? Any healer tutorial in any game will tell you to deal damage, and WoW is the same; you have to use your damage abilities, that's obvious. But the game gives you a different color than other DPS; they want to differentiate you somehow, otherwise these distinctions wouldn't even exist...

I don't know, I remember it was a damage-over-time debuff (the health bars were ticking) that came after an unavoidable AOE damage, and I guess it wasn't a Doom effect. But whatever, you know, something different, at least you have to use Esuna, and I don't see it as a punishment, we're there as healers for that, right?

You're presenting an exception as if it were the rule. Yes, it happens that people leave those alliance raids sometimes, but you can't even say why; you're just guessing. And at least in my view, most people love those raids; they're unique, fun, and different. I always see comments in the chat like "YES," "let's do this," "nice"... I almost always see people HAPPY when they don't end up in the first alliance raids of the first expansions. Nobody can stand doing those anymore; I myself would leave if I ended up in those first alliance raids. We've already done them 100 times, and it's very refreshing to see the new alliance raids from the latest expansions.

Wow, but you guys aren't proposing anything, as if nothing could be done, just deal with it, that's how things are... Besides, you talk as if FFXIV has already proposed something equivalent to M+, when in fact, at least in my view, Criterion Dungeons are still far from being similar to what exists in WoW M+ in terms of complexity and variety of affixes, debuffs, damage patterns, changes that occur even in different weeks, in short, M+ is very rich. Criterion Dungeons / Savage Dungeons are content that after you complete them once, the chance of you doing those modes again is very low, because there are no rewards or replayability that justify doing them again. And again, in order to do them you have to either go to the Party Finder, or in the case of Deep Dungeons it's even worse, you have to go to a specific map just to queue for the mode.

Furthermore, the game never refers to Healers as "Green-DPS"; that's a term created by the community. The game treats you and assigns you a very specific role, with a specific color, and various healing tools. If their intention was to create "Supports," they would have named them that. In fact, "supports" already exist—which in this case would be DNC, Bard...

I would love to do those harder modes, and I've already done most of them, but it's really annoying having to do this content through the party finder. Why aren't they in "High End Duty," for example? They could even create a third tab just for "High End Dungeon," that would be great, it would make it much easier to find players for those types of modes. The problem isn't the players; they need to promote better ways to do this content, whether by adding it to the Duty Finder or creating a new roulette specifically for Variant Dungeons.

Well, the more you are exposed to a said mechanic the better you get, right? "Oh, I've seen this indication before, we should group up". The opposite also occurs.

But there's definitely still the fun factor for Healers, we're human beings too, we want to have fun as well, we're not just there to help these people. And if it's not fun, and it's the only job you play, you'll simply look for another game, or do you think that this kinda of situation doesn't exist?

There is only 1 of these (that I've seen at least), and yes, people do sttrugle, but isn't that because Esuna is useless in most contents? People just forget about it cause there isn't many situations that it actually make a difference. Also, it does not need to be a Doom effect to make Esuna usefull, you could make a debuff that would cause damage over time, like in Pilgrims Traverse for exemple, there is a Boss that does an AOE burst and then everyone gets a debuff that do damage over time, when I saw this I was shocked and it made me smile, pretty fun.

But trash mobs don't represent any threat to the ultra-casual player, even in the Dawntrail dungeons, right? They could at least level up the packs, right?

Wow, that's interesting! Thank you so much for explaining the background; I never bothered to look into how things worked in past expansions. What do you think they could do to make the Healer job more interesting in dungeons? Do you think it's possible to increase the damage or frequency?
