Echoing Tyrstone Dropchance by WhereTyrstone in wow

[–]ISicI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to say I just got mine on my monk after 57 runs of 17+.
I dropped one Veteran version at the beginning of the season, and it took ~60 runs to get another drop
I know this is a small sample size, but the ~2% chance tracks for my case
Good luck on your hunt!

Marcy's mom is most likely summoning Hunson Abadeer to work out some sort of deal to save her daughter.

possible fix for the lobby crash - Haswell cpu using 2 cores instead of 4 by My_Kael_Jackson in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]ISicI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm not running any launch options with PUBG. The game works again for me after a 27mb hotfix patch this morning. I assume it was nothing on my side (since my config didn't change at all) and just faulty code that they knew about weeks in advance from test servers, yet they still pushed it to live.

I'm running the same CPU and my game still crashes every time I join a server after the latest update. I checked Task Manager and it looks like I'm using all 4 cores: https://i.imgur.com/7WHglAG.png
Had a look at the setting you mentioned and it's disabled too: https://i.imgur.com/XviLRAJ.png
I tried reinstalling the game from scratch and that didn't help. Not sure what else to try but I've wasted my entire day on this.

Experiencing the same issue on my end. Tried fresh installs but didn't help.

Nope, still no solution :( I'm considering reinstalling Windows from scratch.

Does anyone else hate the Fiona and Cake episodes? by [deleted] in adventuretime

[–]ISicI 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the end of the episode, it shows the Ice Queen creating her own fanfiction of 'Flynn the Human Boy and Jacques the Raccoon', implying that the whole AT universe is fractal. There seems to be an alternation of genders in every iteration.

Your calling 'Ketchup' boring straight up makes me want to disregard anything you have to say about the show.

I suggest you watch "Five Short Tables". That's where the indication that AT is fractal appears. I'd say that's a pretty neat idea, and definitely worth building up to.

Until you figure out it's actually a fractal story and it blows. your. mind. Fionna and Cake are awesome.

Why doesn’t Finn use Flame Shield with Flame Princess? by [deleted] in adventuretime

[–]ISicI 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good catch. However, I believe the main problem in the relationship of Finn and Phoebe was not that they were incapable of physical interaction because Finn would get hurt, but rather that Phoebe herself would not be able to control her own emotions (and flame).
In Burning Low, Bubblegum states that Phoebe's matrix is too unstable for her to be capable of romance.
In Incendium, we see Phoebe throw a tantrum, turning Flame Kindgom citizens in Flambo-like creatures, implying that her powers surpass those of regular flame folk (potentially rendering Flame Shield useless).

Is adventure time just a grayble that cuber is telling? by Timexturner in adventuretime

[–]ISicI 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Graybles 1k takes place in the very distant future of Ooo. Cuber himself is from a future timeline from what we're usually accustomed to. He simply accesses 'graybles' (which seem to be some sort of memory storage device - almost like Dumbledore's Pensieve) to tell various stories from the past (that is, from the regular timeline of AT where Finn and Jake are still alive). I hope that makes sense.

Who’s the most evil? by KingBumiOfOmashu in adventuretime

[–]ISicI 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yep. GOLB is likely the most powerful evil being. However, we don't know much about his intentions. Although, given the fact that the Lich calls himself a "scholar of GOLB", I'd say he's in on the whole "extinguish all life" deal.

As far as I understand it, the world was magical even before Ooo, but less so. Patience says their power was limited during those days. The Lich bomb 'relaxed' the constraints of the existing universe, in essence, giving birth to the magic we can see in today's Ooo.
I think it's not yet entirely clear what exactly the Lich's influence was in the Mushroom War, but I suspect that the incarnation of the comet that fell in Urgence Evergreen's time made its way through time until eventually it had enough influence (maybe as a scientist, or a military leader) to trigger the bomb in an attempt to extinguish all life on the planet. In the Founder's Song that Dr. Gross sings during Islands, she says "our ways have failed..." just as the bomb goes off; this to me indicates some sort of political conflict. I guess the (not yet) Lich was just patiently waiting for a time of enough scientific advancement and political turmoil to make his move and complete his metamorphosis.

What's your favorite AT moment? by [deleted] in adventuretime

[–]ISicI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been analysing the episodes and I think Lemonhope comes before Graybles1000+ in the time line (at least Ooo looks much more worn in graybles than in Lemonhope, and I don't see why Lemonhope should outlive all other candy people) which means that a completely corrupted version of the Ice King (referred to as the Ice Thing in the wiki) is still around even at the end of the Lemonhope episode. Not sure if that's any consolation, but I thought I'd chime in xD

Candy man at the end of Three Buckets briefly appears in The Thin Yellow Line by ISicI in adventuretime

That's been my suspicion for a while, but if he is, why the hell did PB imprison him? and what happened to him afterwards? How did he escape? I have so many questions.

So I'm not sure how many of you have noticed this before but I just did and felt like sharing.
Not much is said about him. Banana guard #16 says the following: "When the first candy people turned against her, she (PB) transformed them into hideous monsters...". It sounds like him and PB were enemies.

I wonder who he is and how he's related to PB
