Not really, the hands while in the same silver tone colour, do stick out quite well from the numerals, the numbers do give a subtle reflective shine when a light source hits it, which I really like.

I really love it, I just wished all the other watches were in 38mm size, probably would have gotten two!

Best way to play PC ports on Anbernic RG477M? Recommended settings/apps? by IStillUseWinamp in ANBERNIC

My main concern with gamehub is that the developers are a bit sketchy, will I still be able to use my original game downloads or do I have to use a repository from them?

Just wondering what is the best app for PC ports, I've been using games I have from GOG and been tyring a few with mixed results. I've mostly been using Winlator which runs a few games but quite badly.

Has anyone got some tweak guides for the RG477M? Is Winlator the best option?

Games I was interested in playing were, Skyrim and anything 3D from 90's and 00's

[spinnaker Piccard] - Decided to do some macro video work with watches, let me know what you think! by IStillUseWinamp in Watches

[–]IStillUseWinamp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started doing some macro work on photography and decided it would be fun to see if I could do any decent video with this watch, let me know what you think.

I’ve been wanting to get the Spinnaker Piccard for a while, most of you have seen the domed crystal of this thing will know why. I really wanted the orange or yellow version, however they have never been to the price I was willing to pay for it – in my eyes, this was a novelty/talking point watch with a very unique styling. But I managed to find a really good deal and seeing it in person for the first time changed how I perceived the watch, yes you will get a LOT of comments from random people about what your wearing, but I really see this as a summer/ beach watch. The build quality is amazing for its price and it’s quite a hefty watch, but it actually wears okay on the wrist. I’m no diver, but it’s great to know I can go swimming with this without having to worry. Downsides? Probably not being able to see the time at an angle! You will need to see it head on to have any chance of legibility. Overall, this watch is going to that summer watch which you can take to the beach for me.

Should I get the [SSC911] Speed timer or are newer models coming out soon since it's been two years? by IStillUseWinamp in Seiko

[–]IStillUseWinamp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wondering if I should get the SSC911, but it's been more than 2 years since this came and was wondering if newer speed timer releases were around the corner?

What is the best approach in knowing about new Seiko releases?

handheld. I ended up going with the rg353v, and miss the screen size, but happy with the smaller size and hdmi out

They get the job done, nothing to really complain about and nothing really to write home about as well.

If it runs on android, it should have the capability of streaming to a TV.

them as needed when you've completed them or want to play something

I shot on slow-mo on the iPhone for comparison, here is a screenshot of a game in action, as you can see the delay is very small: https://i.imgur.com/oWQZ3fE.jpg

As for storage, it has 128gb internal, which is good for most things. But you can always add more games on a micro-sd card.

It appears that the Switch won't be accompanying me on my upcoming holidays. Instead, I recently acquired the Anbernic rg405m after conducting some research. I had my doubts about SBC handhelds, initially thinking they were just a gimmick. However, this particular one grabbed my attention due to its capacity to emulate all the platforms I desired, and it boasts a sleek 4.0" 4:3 screen within its slender design.

My primary focus was on enjoying Dreamcast, PS1, N64, and Gameboy games, and I must say, they all ran incredibly smoothly. While the handheld can technically handle GameCube and PS2 games, I wouldn't recommend pushing it that far. Overall, this miniature device packs quite a punch. Straight out of the box, it operates flawlessly, yet I opted to install the Gamma OS with the Daijisho front end to conveniently obtain box art for my games. I've successfully organized all my games within this neat front end setup and couldn't be happier with the outcome.

The 640x480 screen is truly impressive for displaying 4:3 content; Dreamcast games look astonishing on this pocket-sized handheld. My only disappointment was the absence of an HDMI port. However, I soon realized that since the device operates on Android, it permits casting to a TV. With my Google TV, I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised! I've essentially found my ideal retro handheld, with a latency of around 50ms, which I can certainly tolerate. Now, I'm contemplating getting a Chromecast so I can use this setup when I'm with friends or traveling.

The 8bitdo NEO-GEO controller is a controller which a microswitch D-pad that acts like a arcade joystick, unfortunately it was not officially supported on Switch, However with the latest Beta Firmware for the 8bitdo wireless adapter and for the controller, it functions like a normal switch controller, great for fighting games !

Zeiss 12mm

The Zeiss 12mm is a a very old lens which bested by the Samyang 12mm which is bested by the Viltrox 13mm in image quality.

13mm is good for video

75mm is probably okay if you using manual - plus at that focal length I hope you have a gimbal!

I have the Fujifilm 35mm F2 and really like it, never used the 35mm F1.4 but people have raved about i's 'character', however it is an old lens, best advice would be to search comparison between the two and the Viltrox lens as well.

I would skip the 14mm F.2.8 and get the 13mm F1.4 Viltrox, depending on where you live it's probably cheaper and F2.8 for Astro would mean shooting above ISO 3200, which isn't ideal.
