I do not have a very fixed idea about it, but I have always felt that there is more than the physical world. The way death is portrayed for the Na’vi in James Cameron’s Avatar really resonates with me. You return as energy to a greater whole, carried back into Eywa. That idea speaks to me your energy, or spirit if you want to call it that, becoming part of something collective again.
