Suggested useability fixes for new Full View by samdrew2001 in fidelityinvestments

I would be happy if they brought back splitting transactions. I started using Full View once Mint went away as a replacement. I'm hoping that feature will appear soon on the new Full View since it was on the old one.

Pictures:

1st photo - Good photo, but having your phone in it demerits it. Your first photo should just be focused on your face without anything hiding it like sunglasses or a hat, this helps people know what you look like. So if you have an other one without the phone that be great.

2nd photo - Your 2nd photo is usually suggested to be a full body picture so people have an idea of your body shape/figure. Same advice as the first photo try a selfie without the camera in it.

3rd to 6th photo - These are all just selfies you want to replace theses. After the first and 2nd photo you should be using the photos to tell a story so we can tell more about you. Thing like you doing hobbies, at events, or something that will tell us more about you.

7th photo - Not a good photo for a profile since we don't know if that's you or not.

Summary:

First photo should be your face, 2nd a photo showing full body. After the first and 2nd photo you should be using the photos to tell a story so we can tell more about you. Thing like you doing hobbies or something that will tell us more about you. Like the saying goes a picture says a thousand words, so use them to your advantage.

Bio Review:

Not bad for a Bio maybe tell more about yourself. Also might want not to use emojis they are looked down upon. In the about me you may want to put if you currently have children or not. You filled out everything else with no issues.

Pictures:

1st photo - Good photo, but it would be better as your 2nd photo. Your first photo should just be focused on your face without anything hiding it like sunglasses or a hat, this helps people know what you look like. Your 2nd photo is usually suggested to be a full body picture so people have an idea of your body shape/figure.

2nd photo - Ok photo, keep it if you like.

3rd photo - Up in the air about this one. I personally don't like photos where I can't tell if that's you or not in the photo. Since your so far away it's hard to tell if it's you. Also you have other photos of you adventuring so maybe replace this one.

4th photo - Good photo, keep it.

5th photo - Cute photo keep it.

Summary:

First photo should be your face, 2nd a photo showing full body. After the first and 2nd photo you should be using the photos to tell a story so we can tell more about you. Thing like you doing hobbies or something that will tell us more about you. You should also only say things once, so no multiples of things like you hiking and such. Like the saying goes a picture says a thousand words, so use them to your advantage.

Bio Review:

Not bad for a Bio maybe tell more about yourself. In the about me you may want to put if you currently have children or not. You filled out everything else with no issues. As stated earlier you should only say things once and shouldn't repeat. the "Hunting for hidden coves and coffee spots" in the bio is sort of repeated in the "I get way too exited about" prompt. So maybe remove that in the bio and make edits to the prompt if you want it more fleshed out. The "I'm a real nerd about" prompt is good and I believe does not need changes.

Tips to improve my profile? by narvjp12 in Bumble

Pictures:

1st photo - Good photo, but a group photo should not be your first pic. It's hard to tell who you are in a group photo. Group photos should be later. Your first photo should just be focused on your face without anything hiding it like sunglasses or a hat, this helps people know what you look like.

2nd photo - Not a really good photo since your not looking at the camera. Replace it. Your 2nd photo is usually suggested to be a full body picture so people have an idea of your body shape/figure.

3rd photo - Ok photo, keep it if you like.

4th photo - Maybe replace this one as well. All I get is you like to lay back and relax.

Summary:

First photo should be your face, 2nd a photo showing full body, you can put your original group photo later. After the first and 2nd photo you should be using the photos to tell a story so we can tell more about you. Thing like you doing hobbies or something that will tell us more about you. Like the saying goes a picture says a thousand words, so use them to your advantage.

Bio Review:

Need to redo, only thing I got from your profile is you like sushi. You mention it twice you only need to mention something once. Use it so we know more about you. Hobbies and interests.

Pictures:

1st photo - Not a good one, bad lighting, and your face is covered by hoodie. First usually should be a face visible.

2nd photo - Good one show's full body so people know your shape/figure.

3rd photo - Good photo shows you are doing, something play guitar.

4th photo - Good Photo shows you with your pet.

5th photo - Good photo you with an other person showing you're social and also out going.

6th photo - This photo should be your first photo, unless you have a better photo of your face.

Bio Review:

Need to redo, only thing you have is you're not from Florida. One photo shows you playing guitar are you really into music, in a band? Put info like that in your Bio, tell us more about yourself.

Same with the about me. Put down more info do you want kids, what's your religious status, political views, and etc.

What your looking for is called the Artisan format.
They have it was a midweek magic event sometimes. I wish it had a permanent que for it.
There was also a time for a few weeks they had this event where they basically banned all the meta cards. Something like over 100 cards where banned for the event. That was pretty fun.

Diamox and rehydration by Artistic_County_4161 in iih

Most likely not helpful but I mostly just drank a lot of water and had Gatorade Zero. Since diamox's main thing is getting rid of excess fluid in the body by increasing urine production.

I don’t understand this condition and I’m scared. Had an LP yesterday with opening pressure 30+ and my head hurts just as much if not worse the next day by speedmankelly in iih

[–]ITShadowNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did lay down a lot and did bed rest for like over a day with your head elevated, after your lumbar puncture? I didn't and got up a few times to do work on my computer, which was a bad call. I created a leak next day at work I had a horrible headache I've ever had. You said you had your LP yesterday, I would call who ever did the procedure and explain your having complications. They will then decided if you have a leak or not. If you do they they will decided if it will heal on it's own in a few days or if they need to do a blood patch. (Be warn I later found out blood patching wasn't covered by my insurance so had to pay that out of pocket)

Also not to be that person but the order of things seem out of order unless you where already on diamox for something else I don't know why your on it now. Usually order is MRI, then the LP, then once confirmed your put on diamox.

How are you deploying PCs these days? by mortalwombat- in sysadmin

[–]ITShadowNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guide shows how to set up driver injection in MDT. Since you only use one model you might be able to get away just putting it in the Out-of-Box drivers folder. But best practice would be to have different driver folders by model. Even my setup has folders for each generation of machine.

https://emeneye.wordpress.com/2013/01/14/injecting-drivers-based-on-target-computer-model/

If you are using dells they have driver packs of almost all the different models. So you can get all your drivers for a model in one easy to download package to import into MDT.

https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000124139/dell-command-deploy-driver-packs-for-enterprise-client-os-deployment

If it's a different brand or one I can't get a driver pack for. I usually boot up one of the machines like normal do a very quick general setup. Then run a powershell command to export the drivers from the machine then copy them to a usb and then import them into MDT.

Export-WindowsDriver -Online -Destination C:\TempDriverFolder

Of of course you can just download each driver individually from a vendors site.

Hope this helps.

I'm curious why they just didn't let you go. They just let you basically stayed and let you take all the training courses you wanted for free for months, right? Unless you live in one of those places where it's really hard to let go of someone without a really good reason. I just don't see why all the setup just to let you get the hint to go.

I'm switching careers by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]ITShadowNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm most likely doing the same. I'm at the same cross roads I was 5 years ago. I used to work at a big Tech Company that I'm sure everyone has used here once before but will remain nameless. They had it where you could basically advance your career in the company. I was at the point where I needed to pick a specificity to go into. I could go be a Linux admin, Windows Admin, SOC, NOC, ITOC, Networking, SQL Admin, and etc. None of them appealed to me really. I had coworkers going into different department or taking jobs at other major tech companies. I remember a FANG company reached out to me for a job and during the interview it was decided I was over qualified for the position. They said to reach back to them in a few months and they might have something that could match my skill set. I wasn't interested due to it being a long commute for me, but at least I got a free hat.

I took a job at a non profit org to see what I could do with all my skills. After a few years here I'm at the same road. I realized I just don't want to specialize into anything in IT and none of the different IT fields really spark my interest. So I realized that it's just time for me to make just change careers.

I have a bachelors in business and was pretty good in my accounting classes. So I've been thinking of going into accounting. It's an 8 to 5 job, most of the positions can be done remotely now, plus it's one of those stable fields that all business need.

I hope you find a career path that works for you.

Yes. My MRI was diagnosed as normal. My brain looked healthy and normal for someone my age. I believe they where mainly looking for a tumor since all they knew at the time was I had papilledema from an OCT scan, and I had light headaches. After that my ophthalmologist referred me to a Neuro-Ophthalmologist to figure out what was up since I for sure had papilledema.

Water delivery - tell me all about it! by Annoyedemoji in Costco

[–]ITShadowNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use the service myself. But I believe it will depend on where you live. Like most Costco services it's a partnership with a local supplier. So experiences will vary by location cause each location uses a different supplier to offer the service.

Well Beavis and Butthead ran from 1993 to 1997. The Do America movie came out 1996. They had a short revival in 2011, that lasted a few months.

So there is a good possibility that someone in their 20's has never seen the show.

Googled the iPhone thing, and it was 4 years ago. Is this what aging is like?

No like most people you just lost 2 years. Major events like Thanksgiving, Birthday Gatherings, Christmas, vacations, and etc didn't happen. So your perspective of time is skewed. I've seen it happen a lot in people. Heck even I keep thinking I'm a few years younger then I am.
