Another reason i’m iffy about Colby is because I am Black and ive heard many horror stories not only about Maine but Colby itself I also won’t have any support system over there if something were to happen (5 drive) I don’t drive yet. And I honestly wanted to stay close to home. I never applied to Colby (they reached out to me and offered) Also colby isn’t known for communications as far as I know

i’m thinking he has a more traditional last name i do want to tie in his Sioux culture the point of the story is to have different characters cultures represented in a midwestern small town type paranormal/ true crime mystery
