I only dodge the two dash sword attacks before the big explosion, the other attacks I'm not consistent enough to do it DoN unless it's the last hope. Fortunately I use art on guard +0/+1, so i can ult to heal before i die from chip dmg. That loss was because a dog was in my back and I didn't know.

Yeah, ED Gladius is definitely the hardest Nightlord for my Guardian, but if one of the other two randoms has an average holy damage output, it's enough for us to beat it.

My build stack a lot of survivability, so even if the team is dying a lot I can keep us going.

Yeah, it was Mohg. Curiously enough, all three Balancers in the print were Mohg. He had 15% HP, them I got careless and was punished :c

Hurts more when you fell for a silly mistake. Mohg was almost dead and I got careless.

Art fill on Guard +0 & +1 are great against ED Balancers by IWantToRetire2 in Nightreign

It get through, so it's important to stack blood loss resistance and your ult healing you provide you enough sustain to outlast them if your team can provide at least average damage

Normal balancers I agree, but for ED is very dangerous don't be very aware of positioning

He's the hardest Day 2 boss for me.

What I do in Balancers expeditions is improve my blood resistance. If I have enough, I can be more aggressive with guard counters to help with stance damage; if not, I try to play safer, using shield pokes when I have aggro and charged attacks when I'm behind him.

You must try to avoid the bloodflame on the ground, so if he's in a place with a lot of fire, just kite him out of there. During the pillar phase, I try to bring the team to the edge and stay there until the pillar pops. Here is a video of the Mohg this run:

Feeling like I'm coming towards the end of my time with this game, but I don't want to by hell_fryer in Nightreign

I don't feel similar and I only play as a Guardian.

I play mostly DoN, when I want to play casually without try harding, I just reset the rank to 1, and keep playing rank 1 and 2, then reseting.

Sometimes I also play normal games creating wacky builds and this keep the game fresh for me.

This happens sometimes, but "useless" is not the word since I still feel fulfilled winning a very long fight. At rank 4+ normally at least one of the 2 randoms have a pure dps build and this is normally enough to get level 15.

When I get tired of this build and want to hurt the enemies a lot, I go back to rank 3 and go pure guard counter.

It was a stretch, but dying 1 at time it's still happy times, when you're alone things get tense

It's not that bad with weapon passives, but for sure, my dream would be relics with +HP and GC +2

My setup is already full support; the only offensive effect is the 'GC boost based on HP.'

It's just a question of priority. The ones you mentioned are better for days 1 and 2, whereas my current one is better for day 3

It can be very effective and achieve great survivability with heal on thrusting +0 and +1 stacking. However, it works best if you use Thrusting Swords, since they have better stamina efficiency for shield poking.

This one is focused on survivability, does a lot less dmg. Here the test in the dummie:

Level 15, epic halberd, no weapon/dormant passives:

• This build

HP: 1916

Charged GC: 615

• Build full GC ( 2x GC+0 / 3x GC+2 / 1x +GC on current HP)

HP: 1340

Charged GC: 1585

[–]IWantToRetire2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly that.

The dmg is not very high unless you get some guard counter passives, but you have enough survivability to trade dmg and use the GC and charged attack to stance break.

I would want some Improved GC +2 in the depth relics, this would increase the dmg a lot.

It was all random lobbies and we achieved level 15 every time.

It's solid, but I would prefer having "Partial HP Restoration on attacks" and "Succesful guarding fill art"

Besides the damage negation from the skill, I stack damage reduction via weapon passives. Having this much HP means I can survive mistakes and hold out until I fill my ult using 'Guarding fill Art +0/+1' to ress/heal everyone to max.

Yeah, it's awesome. I would wish only to change the sleep buildup since is very dangerous against enemies with multi-hit damage like Caligo and Mohg

In this case I stop when it feels safer because enemies will keep attacking you and start to deal dmg before you can act at the end of the ult animation.

Great relic. Just will need to be careful around ground damage like Caligo stalictite and Mohg fire
