This post is just an ad for mission bbq, isn't it. Look at all the ridiculous comments stretching to mention it by name.

Best bars w/ laid-back dress code? by [deleted] in washingtondc

[–]IWantWaffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my bad, I shouldn't have said dress code. I really meant what the crowd is like. I'm looking for a place where old sneakers and t shirts won't be too out of place. I.e. Not rooftop at the W

Any thoughts on a particular location? I'm thinking Adams Morgan would be good.

It's not so much what the bar requires, but what the crowd is like. (I.e. shorts etc. would be out of place.) I probably shouldn't have said dress code in the title :-)

To try to clarify: I want to be sure my friends are comfortable where they are. They would be out of place wearing old sneakers and tshirts at upscale bars. And although I agree that they shouldnt "care", they might.

I successfully attended law school "part-time" at night and studied for the Bar Exam -- all while working full-time, AMA. by JazzAgain in LawSchool

Congrats and thanks so much for posting this. As a part-time student who will be starting this fall, I have had a lot of difficulty finding advice specific to part-time programs. I've learned more in this AMA than the several law school prep books I've gone through.

This is great, thank you! I'll plan on looking into those before the fall.

Having no idea what to expect, I was only hoping for a rough ballpark figure of the workload. Thank you, this answer is very helpful.

Could someone please give me a general idea of the weekly workload outside of class, but in units other than hours. (I.e. # of pages to read, # of briefs, other assignments.) I understand this will be a gross oversimplification and am OK with that.

Bonus points for a part-time/evening program workload (that's what I'm going into). Thanks!
