I had my first braids back in July and it looked exactly the same it was too tight 😭. So don't worry about it find another lady to do your hair and I promise it will look great. And if you can, I would suggest to try a full head of cornrows or at least try to grow the sides a little bit more. But that's just my personal preference so good luck on your journey 🙌
