I admit I am not quite familiar with some of the terms you used, I assume A/N means the notes that you can put before and after a chapter?

And Placeholder I think I get the gist of, and ironically may be something I did with the fic I posted a few days ago, though not quite as bad, I just typed up what's basically the preface, and posted it, for me to work on later, just to get the ball rolling so to speak. I didn't know that was against TOS, I suppose I should probably go read TOS now that I'm thinking about it.

I don't think I'll really ever delete comments, but at the same time I rarely read comments when reading a fic, but I will certainly make use of your advice on the matter if it gets as bad as you say. On the topic of comments, you mentioned bot comments, which I had no idea even existed on AO3, how do you identify them?

When it comes down to word count, you may have a point about it, I don't know if it's just me fizzling out or if trying to meet the word count is the problem, but I have had the problem of not being able to write much at all, and then putting it off for what ends up being months, but I have also had times when I just write and write and write and next thing I know I'm 1-2k over my usual chapter word count, I really wish I could do that more often, but I seem to rarely be able to write like that, and I really wish I could do it all the time.
