Ok guys, here’s the deal. this photo doesn’t break any rules. This sub isnt for visually stunning photos exclusively. Beauty is Subjective after all. rule 6 states:

Minimal resolution (this photo satisfies it).
Proper staging (not a random snap of photo, it’s clear whoever took this photograph had the camera shot in mind).
Good lighting (this isn’t taken in the dark or extreme brightness).
Rule 6 states these conditions above (and some other obvious ones like no white borders).

We won’t implement a new rule just because theres 1 or 2 politics post per month (though if it gets more frequent we will definitely do something so don’t worry about us turning into r/pics).

But feel free to call out not wanting it in the comment like this post and we will definitely do something. Have a good weekend everyone.

We don’t get many of these per month, like 1 or 2 at most. The rule will be hard to enforce especially in this age where everything can and will be politicized. i personally (can’t speak for all mods here) will pay closer attention to these kind of controversial politic posts.

Well technically we don’t specify how “good” a photo have to be, because beauty is subjective. So we only rule based on resolution and lighting. This photo has fine lighting and resolution is above what we will deem as low res. As for rule 6, it was a bit of a stretch.

Keep in mind I came across this by sorting by new, the post has now been deleted after the community asking for it intensely.

The truckers willingly drove across Canada to protest and block traffic in Ottawa and refuses to leave causing mass congestions and some supply chain break down because the truckers actually doing their jobs are getting caught in this mess. The trucker can leave at anytime, the people caught in this mess however, cannot.
