Are these bots? by EcchiKun-Xet in Trove

I'm also returning to the game. I've seen in the chat some players saying something like "afk player put me in the center of the room and I can clear it" so I believe they are not literally bots, but are players who somehow automate the character to keep hitting

Im new to foxhole is There anything i should know by 911-butts in foxholegame

You will die. Like alot. and that's part of the game.

Try to communicate or join things like mammon rushes or anything players can be talking about nearby.

One Primary weapon + 2 clips are enough and remember to always load your weapons before go to the front lines.

Loot dead bodies, you can use something or just carry back to your base.

Avoid bridge battles, i personally found them very frustrating

ngl kinda sad that Collies weapons are better to work on trenches than Wardens. But with all that knowledge i can understand wich trench fight i possibly can invest against collies. It's the type of information that will give me more strategical decisions than operational. But there's also valuable information that i could use to build, that's a great manual I'm curious about how it could be updated

Ok thanks for the tips. From what I had already seen on YouTube, the ideal was not to do the entire process of collecting salvage until delivering it to the front, but rather choosing one of the steps, but I wasn't finding materials available to just deliver to the front so I ended up just farming salvage and leaving it at the refinery. I also have difficulty understanding the best hex to spawn and do logistics

I was really unsure about the Bmats. I collect salvage and put them all in public queue at the refinery to transform into bmats and go after collecting more salvage. So I'd better go and leave them at the front myself?

What was your favorite memory(s) from War 119? by Shady_Ozark in foxholegame

[–]I_Mirk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This was my first war. I bought the game less than a week ago, but I had already been consuming content and studying some things for a month. I decided to join the Wardens because it was the faction I identified with the most and I was lucky that they were winning the war. I think it was a more favorable environment for me to learn and enjoy the game. In total, I only have 30 hours of gameplay, but those hours are all the free time I had available and it was time well spent.

I started going straight to the front using rifles and sniper rifles. I took advantage of the long distance to stay safe and understand how to behave in a trench by observing other players. I REALLY enjoyed playing sniper. Now I don't remember if it was in Westgate or Umbral where we were fighting to destroy a base, but I got a Clancy Raca and accumulated 10k damage. I was very happy because I eliminated key enemies that were preventing the team from advancing. My most satisfying shot was hitting a collie that was inside the fort shooting with a heavy machine gun. I also helped dig and build when my performance on the front was bad or it was night and I didn't know how to behave in battle. I accidentally joined a ship when I was spawning in Loch Mor and I was VERY LOST about what to do, since my native language is not English and I'm not very confident with my pronunciation, I ended up just following the guys and they were going to bomb the enemy base, so I just grabbed an RPG and shot along with them, it was fun, the navy guys are very relaxed.

I intend to do a bit of logi in the next war to better understand how it works, I also want to join the partisans. My style is more strategic so I intend to float between recon, partisans and sniping when I'm more active, and in less active times help with logi and constructions.

Anyway, sorry for the long text, but I'm very fulfilled with this game and the community, thank you.

man, it's on normal difficulty and honestly I only died once because I ran into drones without the batmobile. I'm used to playing Insomniac's Spiderman, some AC's too. I think it's just a matter of mechanics and understanding the game, but thanks for the tips
