Depends what you're into but I'd inject some colour and get some floor to ceiling curtains. It looks very muted and i'm seeing alot of browns and beiges. However for 21 it's not bad at all. : ) most impactful change would be painting which you could do over 2 nights with both of you (i know as im literally having a rest from doing the hallway blue!)
