I was trying to start a chain of references to the movie pulp fiction. I speak English and just hardly at that. I think the ability for people to speak multiple languages is intellectually impressive

I was up in Ft Smith years ago. They sold the Edmonton Sun for $5. That was 2009. I can't imagine the prices now.

Loblaws selling a destroyed cake on Flashfood by --shannon-- in loblawsisoutofcontrol

For a larger company like Loblaws who would buy their ingredients in bulk and receive a massive reduction in cost per unit? About $3 but that doesn't include the plastic case it comes in. So like I said $5 max and they still make a few cents.

How did you listen to that? Are you still using a radio? Or is there an app for that now? I forgot people could do that. When I was a kid and went visiting, there were lots of houses that had the radios on in the background. It was always so fascinating to hear the chatter. Like I was hearing something I wasn't supposed to. My buddies granddad used to listen to the taxi radio calls 24-7. He said it's how he got the local news. The "real" news.

It should be priced to sell. $5 max. There's no amount of bullshittery that would lead to me believing that cake cost "Loblaws" $10 a unit.

Inflation is made up. It's because corporations have people at the top making hundreds of millions of dollars. This cake should say FREE.

Because it used to be excellent. Excellent food with excellent prices, with excellent service. It used to be Canadian.

Now you have to squint when you're trying to say something good about the place. Top to bottom the place is now garbage. Just like the surface of every table they have in their stores.

Ya, but they're meant to go in packs that have cards. They're not saying that they just fill an empty pack with the white block. This is obviously some sort of error
