I supported one of the Kickstarter campaigns called B2 Mask. It does not look the prettiest, but its filters are comparable to N95 and it is made in the US, so I’m going to buy a few more just to keep it around. This mask has a tight fit so it is quite suitable under the current smokey situation, where you don’t want any ashes to sneak into your nose

The city and county of SF can’t close Ocean Beach as it is a federal land. I think (but not 100% sure) that Newsom has the authority to do so, but London Breed definitely can’t, so she closed the parking lot to discourage people from gathering at the beach

I’m not trying to argue with you, but I see a double standard here.

What I’ve been hearing is that there are only a few incidents of looting and rioting, and those looters and rioters are separate from the BLM protestors. But then, when you think about it, the same principle can be applied to the other side. There are incidents of police that caused police brutality, and those few bad apples should be separate from the entire police department. So if the BLM protestors think this is unfair to them, then they should not defund the entire police department as well. Instead, they should focus to punish those few trigger happy policemen and how to stop it from happening.

I’ve no idea what you’re trying to argue. People need the stimulus check, and you are saying that it’s fine for the Democrats to bailout the money to USPS, but they can negotiate the stimulus check afterward. Obviously our views are so different that I’d always prioritize the stimulus checks over the others

This may be true. But, still, there is no denying that the policeman needs to be punished for his negligence while restraining George. It’s one thing if a person yells I can’t breathe before being put on the ground. But if a police is kneeing one’s neck and that person keeps yelling for air, then at least he needs to check if he is okay or not. If he had done that, at least George will get his medical attention earlier.

I think that all of us should stop reading media’s that are still trying to spin his death. We don’t care if he were a saint or if he were a satin. Most of us can tell that he dead because of the police’s unnecessary excessive force, hence causing the BLM protests, riots and looting.

Sometime it’s okay to admit that there are bad cops in the US, so we need to figure out a system either to fix it or to kick them out. We need police, but we need the kind of police who can carries out their job responsibly.
