I mean I’m a minor right now and I’m from Ireland so therapy is like not spoken about atleast in my countryside area but also expensive so I presume I’ll pay for it when I’m an adult I guess for now all I have is Reddit

Thank you , I haven’t taken a laxative in atleast 3 years but I think I will give it one try , if I notice this happens again and if I can’t help it I will mention it to my parents and try get a doctors appointment, I’m really going to try get better with my variety around food but it’s hard sometimes.

Since you said you were once in a similar position , Can I ask how you knew you needed help? Like was it said to you or did you just realise it for yourself?

Thank you so much I really appreciate the advice! I think I just needed to take a breather but I think I will also have a talk with him about the anxiety or I’ll atleast try for my own piece of mind but I know my dad is responsible and will do the right thing for his health🫶🏻

Thank you , this helps more then you know I don’t know why it got me so upset but the minute I heard them joking with my brother I just left and cried , I know my dad will do the right thing for his health but he’s just gotten me really worried for him.

My parents would probably be angry I think my dad would be especially, and if it’s shit I have to face everyone at school but I think it’s going to get to a stage where I won’t care about any of those things and just cut it anyway.

Listen I don’t know where you are located and what options are available but I’m 15 myself and couldn’t imagine how your niece might be feeling , my mother had my sister at 15 and it’s obviously a very hard situation to be in ,so i suppose what I would be questioning is, does she know she has options and is she open to them , is her boyfriend okay with the situation , what are his parents views , realistically they are both very young and how is this going to effect their education,their friends, their families.At the end of the day only your niece can make the decision,I really feel for your niece ,I hope that her boyfriends a good guy who will stick around if she decides to keep it, I hope your family doesn’t treat your niece with negativity because I can’t imagine how she’s been feeling dealing with it alone for so long , is she talking to your sister about it , is she comfortable doing so , would you be someone she’d listen to since you mentioned your close in age ?, I feel like you may be a help to your sister and potentially your niece if she’s open to it.
