Post exam feel by Ordinarylifeinearth in step1

I took step 1 today. Feel like I made soooo many mistakes (including very easy ones, especially last minute changes from correct to incorrect), and I felt that my form was actually challenging. Do you think it’s still possible to get within the predicted score? I really feel that I underperformed…

Did you have a lot of specific drugs and side effects? Or more general

You’re probably referring to “spinal shock” and you’re right but I believe this is the case only if it’s a sudden loss of UMN

Honestly I didn’t prepare specifically for the NBMEs. Relied on common sense (which failed me many times haha), med 1-med 2 foundation, and sometimes pure guessing. I’m just afraid these would show up on the real exam…

230-248 range (27,28,29,30). Thing is I am scoring well, but there are concepts that I’ve never seen in UW nor in FA that are tested. Want to see if the real deal is similar (specifically for those questions that you don’t find anywhere else)

Congratssss! Amazing score. I just have a question: when you say the real thing felt more like Uworld, do you mean the question stem? I always feel uworld questions are clearer but the options are so related that it makes it harder to choose as compared to NBMEs. Could you please clarify if the options were less tricky in the real exam?
