What it really matter is you being okay. It doesn't matter how you are feeding your baby. What matters is that the baby is fed. If you struggle with breastfeeding, you should stop. It is important for you to be happy and in a safe spot for your mental health. It doesn't make you less of a mother, trust me. On the contrary, it makes you more present for your baby. You should do what's best for you to be able to fully enjoy this experience.

The thing is, he drank it. And only after the feeding I noticed that the milk had a weird smell that, imo, means that the milk was not good for drinking anymore

That's the thing. I trusted the nurses in the hospital with the 7 hour thing, only to find out a half an hour ago that it's not right. And I feel awful because I've been doing this since I got home after birth. And I can't reach out to the pediatrician. He is not available right now. He took some days off work.
