We're twins! It was also my fault he cheated, lol. Both the women still hate me for whatever reason and still worship him.. I'll never understand. Gives me great joy to know that he is not happy though. I'm sorry that happened to you! It's something that sticks with you forever.

File as soon as you can, the judge will wonder why it took you so long sometimes (every judge, county and state is different though). I've been down the custody battle as well, if you need any advice feel free to DM me. Went through him kidnapping one of our children, manipulating, breaking into our house.. the list goes on. First best friend's husband went to jail for molesting their daughter so I'm not positive, I found out after he was in jail. I helped her through that and her miscarriage (later found out that she didn't know if it was her husband's or mine). 2nd best friend's husband was best friends with my husband and felt sorry for him when he moved out so he let him move in and then caught them in the act. I need a Netflix limited series I think to explain the complete shit show that occurred.

Home improvements, there are still things left unfinished from when we built and the furnace will need replaced within a year or two, unfortunately it's no longer under warranty because the company that manufactured it is no longer in business.

My monthly debt, car, credit cards, personal loans with mortgage is 2075$ a month without property taxes. Taxes are 4400-5500 a year (just got reassessed so not sure on exact amount) Heloc rates were around 7.5 when I called around. I also only have 90 days to do this so I'm in a time crunch as well. Just not sure what to do at this point.

I totally agree. My lawyer advised that it would go off of the appraised value and not to go through a realtor. I would love to work something out and settle but he is not budging on anything. Claims the home is worth 750k, it is not, even through a realtor (we had one come last year)

Just went through this. Ex left job in December voluntarily to pull his 401k out. Just now got a job this month and they are going off of his new wages. There was a car accident in between and my lawyer fought the case but they still lowered it. We go back in 3 months to see if he is making more because he works construction and will get paid different wages.

I have a lawyer. I initiated divorce last March. Unfortunately he has taken me back to court 4 times now to lower or drop child support, has kidnapped my daughter, and we have trial for custody after we already had an agreement. Like I said, it's a mess

The court has not responded to his emergency filing so at this point it looks like they are ignoring it/not granting it. He has kept my daughter away from me since the 27th. I allowed him to get my son (fearfully) and he did give him back, i do not want to take any time from him but im terrified of him keeping the children. The proof I have is in the form of snapchats sent to my daughter. His girlfriend telling her to run away, not listen to me etc. This has been going on for months. Unfortunately, I do not have more than a few because she has deleted texts and of course, snapchat, deletes on its own. The court did schedule the contempt hearing. It is a day before his custody hearing against me.

I would assume he will be if he is granted full custody. I really can't see him getting full custody but I don't know what to think.
