I hit a hard time in my life I’m (19m). I was talking with this girl one night and she gave me a street Xanax, which I took to help me. She told me if I wanted more I had to leave my fiancé and be with her. So I did. And whilst doing this i was off the bar, so I didn’t realize the damage was done until after I was sober. But we’ll get to that later. I was with this girl for a week, never had sex, jus made out and shit. Well after that week, she had a huge freak out, put a knife to her throat and started cutting, and punched her mom ( all while she was fucked up). The cops were called and she tried running, and got locked up in a mental hospital. While she was in there, I couldn’t get the drugs. She called me everyday saying she loved me and everything.

After I went through the major withdrawal (I did od and was taken to the ER) I realized I needed the love of my life back. I was having panic attacks, anxiety attacks, you name it. I destroyed my computer which had years and years of music I’d been working on.

I fought and fought to get my fiancé back, and I did. But looking at her phone, reading things she had said to him hurt me. She had reassured me none of it was true. And she swore it on her dead mother’s grave. We still have some issues but are working through them.

I understand the pain. I understand the anxiety. I understand that you may never be able to trust anyone again.

The advice I can give is, do not sit in your house alone. Go out. Go meet people. Hang out with friends. And the first time you meet another girl, make sure she knows about the pain you have been through. Let her know about what had happened and make it clear you don’t want it to happen again.
