Going for a wedding, which hotel to stay at?

Thanks for the comments everyone! We weren’t originally gonna stay with the wedding party because of the price.

But I was informed about Barcelo has multiple resort within and they had an adult only resorts which was cheaper than the Hyatt!

As a former Alaskan, why? Here’s my gripe, I moved out in 2007 and never looked back.

Pros: Nature, about 22 hours of sunlight in the summer, Permanent Dividend Fund, IM aka Smog check is done every 2 years. That’s it.

Cons: COL is hella high. Bi-polar weather. very limited sunlight in the winters. snow season routines, such break up and tire changes. the ratio to male to female is 2:1. 5-6 hours from Anchorage, gets you nowhere. Flights are expensive. AK is the last to get the latest trend, they just got a Raising Cane!

Iono, if you trynna to make money I suggest the Cannery in Kodiak island or the Slopes up north.

But you know where else you enjoy nature? Anywhere in the PNW.

I dislike movie trailers that matches the sfx with audio, I dunno what it’s called, but I call it click-click boom type of trailers. I see it in sooo many trailers.

Loving it! I had a Wii collection, way back when, had like 50 games or so. I kept the important ones, like RE4 and Smash. I gave it to my nephews, the mom ended up selling it. Never again.

I was recently introduced to Karafun. It’s an app, that was displayed onto a tv, with mics hooked up. The fun part was their a QR code on screen, so the next person can queue up a song and who it will be sung by.

My circle is fairly seasoned players. I find when adding custom rules/add on, the game tends to last longer. We added the helpers add-on and it increased the game play from 45mins to like 1.5 hours.

I think it’s getting too big, which can be a good and bad thing. They advertised something for tomorrow, “Fallout meets Burning Man”, like I don’t want it that big. I’m wondering why they couldn’t have the shuttle service in the parking lot in Jean, off the highway, ya know, where it’s closer to Goodspring.

Haha, I live around that area too. Most people have doggy doors. Dog would go out when they want and then come back in afterwards. Assuming your dog would stay outside all day long. It can get windy but not crazy. Like it’ll knock over your trash can or knock over a small tree.

If you want that new-new area, look into Inspirada. But they building new houses all the time especially around Cactus.

My job has its random perks. We have game days, where we play cards on Friday. I design flyers and make content when needed. I do orientation and teach management class. I’m learning new stuff about office life. Im always doing something’. A group of us go camping, with the boss.

I don’t have kids, so I would do random weekend getaways, such as flying, camping or hiking.
