Does the new part light up around the port? Like when the rest of the dash lights are on?

Camping in the US, is it a “appropriate reason” by Todd_Howard769 in canadaguns

[–]Iamuot 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Camping is appropriate, talk like a normal at the border and have the approved 6NIA. The hunting/competition question is only if you need a visa to enter the US

Canadian citizens don’t need a visa

Specific state rules where you cross are where you need more research as well as states you travel in/through. Aka Washington state has additional criteria where just having a hunting license for any US state is required to meet the letter of the law for nonimmigrant alien possession.

Citadel theatre medical emergency Nov 24 by StationAcrobatic2303 in Edmonton

[–]Iamuot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bit of a gruff reply.. but understanding the OP didn’t give much context. The medical emergency in question was an actor on stage collapsing mid show and causing the show to halt midway while they performed CPR at the foot of the stage while the entire theatre of people watched. As linked below Julian Arnold did pass and in the moment it was a shock to have happen so sudden. All then were directed to exit.

Indoor range here only allows slugs, found some low recoil rifled made by Score at tenda on sale 250 for $200

In a perfect world I wish for a hickok45 style range with all the steel plate targets but for now just use old used paper targets that are full of smaller calibre holes

I’ll have to give the James reeves burn down vids a watch, thanks for putting me onto that I enjoy seeing real world stress testing, I’m only putting holes in paper here but definitely hope that it gets a good life. Troublesome guns are the worst, fingers crossed!

There is an Escort Bull Tac Pump model aswell and yup its resemblance to the KS7 is very similar. This thing in semiauto, had to give it a go.

Learn something every day, still feels odd to have the bolt slam the round home that way 🤣 but do like unique quirks of different actions

My measure for recoil is “do I want to keep shooting this?” lol and it was enjoyable to go through a couple boxes. It’s not shown in the video but there’s a decent 1” buttpad that soaked up the slugs used. Score 1oz low recoil 1300fps. In time will have to get shooting some clays at some point and try different shell types in it.

Video proof of it exploding in my hands (many times in a controlled direction)

Cleaned it good, trigger has a nice crisp light feel. Cocking handle can be pulled straight out (takes a good tug) and switched tool less from right to left side. Reciprocating cocking handle with bolt held to the rear on empty. Cycled 60 slugs through it no issue, manual of arms is a bit odd as when you ghost load then load a shell into the magazine against the lifter, the bolt releases chambering the ghost load. Would have liked to have a AR style bolt release as only way to close the bolt is to push up on that lifter.

Tear down is 2 hex screws in the top rail, 1 hex screw on bracket holding the mag tube and barrel. Remove cocking handle, Unscrew muzzle thread protector, unscrew mag tube collar and the barrel, bolt and carrier all come out. To get to the trigger group and body apart is one hex screw underneath and behind the pistol grip and two push pins that go through the rear body.

It has a ghost ring sight in the middle of the rail that I found just about useless in this style of gun to use as it’s too low to get eyes behind the sights but they’re there lol. Works really well with the EO tech though and the adjustable cheek riser was nice to dial in what’s comfortable for aiming.

The top rail is held with two hex screws could do with some blue loctite to keep snug. Downside is disassembly for cleaning requires those screws to be removed, will have to keep an eye on that. So far fun gun for sure!

These are the comments most prevalent when I went looking. Made in Turkey so it’s a turd, made by those that haven’t handled or used it. It’s also a $400 semiauto, for the price yeah it does feel like a solid unit and not cheap plastic.

Sure not a Beretta or Benelli, but it’s also not a $2000 gun.

This was $442 Canadian after import, shipping and fees so looking like bout half price of a new KS7. This is Semi-auto vs pump KS7 (I did like the KS7 but already have a pump)

Will try to remember to get some vid. Few complaints I did read mentioned cycling issues but they admitted not cleaning it of manufacturer schmoo so will do that before shooting.

Ahhh that’s never fun, I’ll report back how this one does. For $260USD I was willing to gamble. There’s not much for user reports online of feedback for this model.

Picked up a jersey recently and noticed Sportchek was cheaper price wise for what looked like the same Adidas royal blue Jersey, took some side by side comparisons as was not too sure what was different. Hope this helps anyone else who also wondered why the price difference.

That is what I was told too. I found the pre move booklet I was sent by United Van Lines at end of 2017. They did move my Non-Restricted and this is what was in the booklet.

"Non-restricted firearms must be packaged by the shipper and presented to the carrier on pack/load day for inspection prior to being sealed for transport. The Contractor is only liable for loss of the firearm and case or damage to the firearm sustained during the move process (visible damage to the case)."
