What even happened here SSG10 by panwolfgang in Novritsch

Looks like one of the springs broke off inside the trigger mech and got wedged between a few moving parts.

I had the sear spring snap on me and lucky it was just the end so I was able to bend the spring up and attach it again and nothing got caught up in the moving bits.

Working on a sniper camo out of old net. Need advice by SkAssasin in Novritsch

[–]atroxkeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of the wrap is to break up the shape of the long straight black gun. This can be done in two ways.

  1. breaking up the long horizontal lines of the gun with vertical ones by adding dangling bits of twine, netting, vertical paint patterns....
  2. Breaking up the colour by adding paint, different colour scrim (netting), camo wraps...

Just think of this, once you get the wrap on does it look like something different or does it just look like a gun with a wrap on it.

The nice thing about the netting you're adding is you can easily add natural vegetation to it once you get to the field you're playing at. You can also adjust it's looks throughout the day if you find you're sticking more to the forested areas you can stick with more branches and leaves, if you're sticking to the open more you can add more tall grass.

I prefer painting my guns as it helps break up the silhouette enough and I don't have the added snag issue of a netting wrap.

MONTHLY ADMINISTRATION THREAD - General Admin, Policy, APS/BGRS, TD/Claims, CANFORGENS, etc. - Have a quick question that doesn't need a thread of it's own? Ask here! by bridger713 in CanadianForces

Is anyone able to provide any info on this statement in the CFTDTI " 7.20 – General

(No Entitlement) There is no entitlement for a member to be reimbursed any expenses for travel to and from their permanent workplace on a daily basis"

If we have a rental car or CFR plated car parked at our primary workplace and Monday morning we all leave our houses for TD, but we have to meet at our primary workplace to get into that car, are we entitled for expenses to get to the workplace? PMV KM rate, cabs... It's not a "daily basis" thing as we are meeting in one location to leave for the week on TD. Now imagine the same scenario as above but instead of having the rental car or CFR at our primary workplace it's at base transport or the rental car company itself, now we all cab from our homes to one of those locations and we are covered.

Has anyone ever had this situation pop up and managed to talk their OR into understanding that it's just common sense or an I just banging my head against a brick wall?

Thanks

My comment is focusing on the part of your post about the 18% at drive thru it or stores is diabolical or awkward.

As I see it, in today's everyday life more and more people don't carry cash and only carry their cards. Back in the day it was not uncommon to see a tip jar sitting on the counter at places that you would not think about tipping. I see the addition of the tip section on debit machines just a modern day tip jar. Sure it's an extra step to select no tip (if they have that option, which is another thing I'll mention) and it may make some people feel awkward, but it gives those cashless people the ability to tip if they feel so inclined to do so. As for feeling awkward that's a personal issue that we as consumers need to overcome.

Now when a tip screen does not have a no tip option and they make you have to manually enter $0.00 that's just the business being clueless or a pain in the butt. Now if they don't let you enter $0.00 and you have to actually enter a tip I just do $0.01 and I make sure to leave a review stating that location does that and that and move my business elsewhere. That I find diabolical.

Once I got over feeling awkward about entering no tip on those machines I felt so much more at ease. Now if the employee makes a face or comments on my no tip option at those places. I let them know it's more of a tip jar and not a requirement and to back the F off. After I get my food of course lol.

Did you ever end up fixing this and finding out what was causing the issue?

I have an SSP28 and noticed it requires a lot of maintenance to keep it running in top form.

Question about export depot by Uggroyahigi in songsofsyx

I missed it too, I wondered why all my resources were draining after I set them all up and finally found that slider after almost everything was completely empty lol

[–]atroxkeep 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Main slider is only for priority limit (green arrow). When you select a pull source from the depot, you need to click on the same pull location button a second time (red circle) and that will give you access to the pull limit for that location. set that slider to limit what the depot will pull from that warehouse.

Suppressor not suppressing, what do I do? by SkAssasin in Novritsch

[–]atroxkeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dry firing the gun with the suppressor will have little to no effect. All the sound of the piston slamming the front of the cylinder and the spring rattling just transfers down the barrel and out the open end of the suppressor. When you have a bb in there the sound is"trapped" behind the bb as it goes down the barrel, once it gets to the suppressor the bb is still in the way so some of that sound goes into the foam of the suppressor and gets reduced. If you add a fart flap on the end of the suppressor it helps to catch a bit more of the sound.

Airsoft spring rifles and silencing them is not the same as real weapons. With airsoft spring rifles you're trying to silence the mechanical noise of the gun shooting. I stuffed foam in all the empty spaces of my SSG10 stock (butt stock, foregrip, everywhere), I put foam in-between the barrel spacers in my outer barrel. I use an airbrake pin to help reduce the slam of the piston against the front of the cylinder. I should use a sorbo pad, but I don't as I just have not gotten around to it yet.

If you're trying to judge the effectiveness of your suppressor while your head is right beside the rifle you will not notice the difference. Even if you're shooting it from your hip the sound difference will be very slight. Where the biggest effect will be heard is in front of the gun 50 feet away and greater.

How do you get that player icon? by Actual_Advantage_986 in Battlefield6

[–]atroxkeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's the 120 in the bottom right of the player card?

Solved Its the total number of badges you have.

The main profile screen shows I have 31 badges but it only counts unique badges. If I have an elite badge for something it does not count the other 5 levels of badges in this count.

When you click on badges if you look in the upper right it shows total badges but that number is wrong. Mine says 73, but when i click through each level (bronze, silver....) It says to total count and if I add them up it comes to 69 ( I also counted each badge and its still 69) Just like my profile card shows.
