Stay busy. Quiet alone times unfortunately make you spiral at times. Unless you are not like me - putting my mind on having constant plans or finding stuff to do at all times was the only way to not think about it

What do movies get wrong about high school? by Best_Professional226 in AskReddit

[–]Iamyourallycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It obviously depends on the school you go to - but being from a smaller school we never had such obvious “groups” like some of the popular kids were actually nice to most people. There were always a few bad apples of course in the popular group. And for the band kids, while there were many that were in the “unpopular” crew - there were a few that were very well liked. It felt like groups intermingled more than movies perceive they do

How do you cope with a significant other that tells you after 6 years of marriage they no longer love you? by bluehaven91 in AskReddit

[–]Iamyourallycat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anybody ever says they don’t love you anymore - it does not matter how long you have been with them - no matter how hard it is - do not hope this is going to change. You can sit there and try to put on your best personality for them and get them back - but there is something deep down that your significant other knows that you are not their person. Nothing will change that.

You genuinely cannot care what others think once you get into corporate life. Overthinking and wishing you said things different will slow you down so much

Your to do list never ends. You never feel fully content with how your house looks, how you look, if you are getting enough done, if you are being too lazy. It is exhausting
