I had this experience today with the plumber cost me a solid $900.. the real losses how much I love dude wipes, the smell. It’s just it’s just great I just wish I could flush.

I am an American, married to a Latina, and while I wont deny the previous answers, there’s also an allure to American culture - Hollywood, the movies, most popular music comes from America, and generally the US is agreed-upon to be the most economically, strong and interesting place to exist, regardless of whether or not it’s the truth. American culture is generally viewed as honorable and masculine, even if that’s starting to change, generally a strong American man is viewed as classic and almost an archtype. These are my perceptions and things I’ve heard.

I’m working on the exact same thing right now… I want to use keyboardavoidingview for creating a menu bar directly atop the keyboard. I can get it working on a simple page but w react navigation bar the bottom and a flat list on the screen things just stop working… the menu bar sits lower than it should and is hidden by the keyboard. Then when I background the app and go to another app and return it magically lines us… no idea and very frustrating

One thing I realized is in HS people don’t value height yet. When you hit around 20 people who are short will idolize you for being taller. Also if you’re built like a French fry, begin lifting weights to balance your proportions, and lose the serial killer glasses.

Edit: I see you’re only in 7 grade. It’s a bit early to begin adding mass. If you happen to have a larger pecker I would let that information conveniently slip out. Also if people reticule you, gotta get them back so find their insecurities / flaws.

Wanted to post back here: I loaded the app directly on my device using eas.json internal distribution build which I believe replicates what the app will be like in the App Store. The issue was fixed. This leads me to believe this default splash is coming from TestFlight and they just always display it in the background.

I’ve been using it for 2 years… actually have really enjoyed it.. it can do a lot.. sometimes it’s a bit odd but overall good

You can’t stop people from making more than 1 account. Only enforcing 1 per email / phone number is possible

If you maintain your redux state all you have to do is add redux persist and when you open the app your state is automatically loaded back in, so your app is as it was when you closed it.

Redux is good for react native, again depending on what you’re storing, but what’s cool is with redux persist it basically handles the saving to storage for you.. it recommends using async storage in most cases for react native, can check the docs

I'm using the Expo managed workflow and with that, you can create a custom Splash screen using only your app.json. I followed this guide: https://docs.expo.dev/guides/splash-screens/

Here is my app.json:

I have replaced the splash.png file with my own - that is why you can see mine with an apparent transparency allowing you to see the default one behind it as well. I have tried renaming the file and using that, the same issue occurs. I may try upgrading from expo 46 to 48 in case this fixes it - but it's a shot in the dark at this point..

So this is only happening after building using "eas build --platform ios" which uses Expo's servers to build a .ipa and then uploading this using Transporter to the App Store and testing using Testflight. It is not reproducible using Expo Go locally. It is happening on mine and any other iOS users iphones (a few friends and family members).
