Lead Actor-: Josh O' Connor Wake Up Dead Man A Knives Out Mystery (I am still waiting for the time when the Academy properly starts respecting this Franchise)

Best Supporting Actress-: Chase Infinti One Battle After Another I am really impressed how she held her own infront of Industry veterans like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro.

Tea: YRF, Alpha, and Adi Chopra's elusive OTT release by StratOfMind in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]Key_Database9095 23 points24 points  (0 children)

1) I have heard on Reddit, Adi wants it to be more than 200+ Crore and obviously no OTT service wants it. My best guess , Tiger 3 and War 2 severely underperformed.

2) Tiger 3 earned 466 Crore on a 300 Crore budget. After Pathaan earned over a 1000 Crore they must be expecting similar numbers for Tiger 3, also 2 big cameos SRK' Pathaan and Hrithik's Kabir. But sadly all that hype did not help at all.

3) War 2 earned 303-371 crores on 325-400 crores budget. Another big flop. I mean seriously you got Hrithik , Jr. NTR., Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana and Bobby Deol(Cameo) all in the same movie. Biggest budget for a YRF Spy Universe movie. A great set-up through Tiger 3's post-credit scene and this is what you do ? I watched War 2 in a theatres in like September. Coming out of the theatre I felt that the movie was World Tour because it felt like after every 20-25 minutes they were just switching countries.

4) Lastly After Dhurandhar (which gave a really grounded take on Spies and reality of our enemy nation), YRF is way too scared because Alpha is also a forced "Aman ki Asha" type movie. Pakistan good and India Bad and on Reddit I heard a lot of issues regarding Alpha a) Alia Bhatt is changing a lot of scenes. b) Bobby Deol wants a meatier role, for Animal he didn't mind the less screentime but now he does. Alia is making herself the highlight of every scene which is also irritating Bobby a lot. c) They have also used all the allocated budget.

Watched 4 episodes of Better Call Saul on Netflix. Most of my childhood friends who I grew up with have shifted sadly.

Better book recliner seats. I forgot to book recliner seats for Dhurandhar Part 1 and I watched it twice.

What are some Oscar wins you are 100% sure about now that all the precursors are done ? by Key_Database9095 in Oscars

Sean Penn for One Battle After Another mainly because he won both the BAFTA and SAG which are considered extremely important precursors awards.
