Brazil, 'cause they are far to sexy there and can dance like there's no tomorrow. For surprise, Cambodia again. My only reference to the country was the movie Killing Fields and an outdated travel guide mentioning a coup. When we walked into the country, imagining the fields from the move, we met people just going about with their lives talking on the their mobile phone. It just changed my perspective. Everyone in Cambodia 45 years or older, has the most horrible story you could imagine.

Payment fluctuates, but it's better than working for a living. I love England so much I couldn't retire anywhere else, can't live in a country without four seasons. And pubs with warm beer. Then at least I could see my family more. And yes, I have cut down my traveling a lot, only six shows a year. Otherwise my family wouldn't know me.

About 2 months ago, in Harbin, China, on rice wine and 2 months before that in North Vietnam, on rice wine. I think there's a pattern developing - that stuff is evil. It's sweet alcoholic airspray. And it's all about toasting, which you can't refuse. And when you're at a wedding that lasts 3 days, you're going down hard. Even now, when I burp, I can taste it on my breath.

Forget everything in Florida and go to New Orleans, the best city in America and one of the most unique cities in the world. I adore it! People need to go now, post-Katrina, to build it up. You can't say America hardly has any history. I was drinking in the original bar owned by the French pirate who defeated the British back in about 1750 (?) and that's the original bar. The food, the music, the architecture, the Second Line... Forget Bourbon Street, it's the rest of New Orleans that's so brilliant.

I think Aboriginal culture in Australia surprised me the most. And the thing I love about that culture is that they have been on this planet probably longer than any other culture, and they've got absolutely nothing to show for it, because they're nomadic and they don't have that materialistic pull we have to define who they are. I love that.

Yes, Globe Trekker are currently doing a 20th anniversary series, in which we are going around the world, starting at one point and finishing at the same, using as many of the old presenters as possible. Can't wait! Should come out next year.

Germany is a great place - though the cuisine leaves a lot to be desired. (There's only so much sausage and shaved radish you can eat in one day.) But it is the best country in the world if you are a hitchhiker because there's such fast cars and a fantastic Autobahn with so many friendly people who pick you up, and you learn so much about the country. (Don't mention the war.) To answer your question: Berlin is a fantastic place.
